"We'll teach you then," Nida offers with a grin. IT would be entertaining for them both. And perhaps its own form of foreplay. "Not that ballroom is any less fun, but... Well, we could have far more fun than that."

And here was Nida, never even having played a video game in his whole life.

There was a grin on Nida's face and Ignis just smiled with a shake of his head, turning back to dinner. Dinner was heated up now and there was no time to follow through on the thought of carrying the other man into the bedroom in order to see that earlier rocking promise through.

So the advisor mentally disciplined himself so that he could pretend he wasn't affected but he kept his smile as he began to set dinner down. "Indeed, I'll look forward to learning it from you."

"I look forward to learning together," Nida counters. Because dancing with someone means learning them, and learning how you work together. It's better.

That statement had Ignis smile as he finished getting everything set down on the table. And as he went back for the vegetables, he gave Nida a quick kiss to the side of his head. "Right, we'll learn together then."

He really liked the idea of it and he had heard of it back home. But formal occasions would frown on things like that and so he never told Noctis about it nor would he have taught him anyhow.

"Best lessons are shared," he grins at his boyfriend.

"But first, I suppose, is the wonders of dinner," Nida grins as he moves to the table to start grabbing cups and filling them with water.

Nida got a smile and then Ignis let out a small laugh as he set the veggies down and grabbed some butter.

"Well there's plenty here I daresay."

There always was, what With having to feed four grown men back home he'd learned how to cook enough. Sometimes though he thought if he gave the boys even more to eat somehow it wouldn't go to waste.

"We'll have to keep the felines away," Nida smiles as he settles down to their dinner.

"Perhaps we should offer the leftovers to others."

Ignis waited for Nida to sit first as he usually did and then sat down himself. Really though he needed to get off of his tail and pull the other's chair out allowing him to sit first that way.

But at the thought of giving the food to others, he nodded. "And when it gets warmer, we can have dinner on the rooftop."

Ignis, come now, they can both live with taking turns at being gentlemen. For now, just be together.

"Dinner on the rooftop. With candles. And dancing."

He would need layers to do it now. Too cold here.

Green eyes lit up delightedly at the suggestion of candles and dancing. "We can add some flowers as well and have quite the time up there in the Spring." It sounded so wonderful he was going to have to climb up there and take a look around, and maybe write some plans down in his book.

They truly could have a magical evening to themselves if they tried.

"Flowers, huh? Sounds like a plan to me. Maybe we should look into this."

How did they keep it private, though?

Well a magical evening (or rather evenings as Ignis planned to do this often) under the stars on the rooftop was the plan. But of course the advisor would want to keep it private as well. Too bad there wasn't a way to completely make it private but he most certainly would work on that. After all, things such as making out or more without being seen or caught would truly make it magical.

Nodding at the flowers comment, Ignis started getting their plates together. "But of course, why stop at one or two ideas if the whole thing can be properly pulled off?"

What, no sock on the door knob to the roof to solve it? Well, they'll figure something out.

"You're making this a whole thing, aren't you? In your head it's so much more. I like that. The way you plan."

Ignis smiled as he finished getting the food done. "Well, I certainly wouldn't wish to do something..what is the expression..half assed?" And while he wasn't the type of person to do that, this was more to show Nida that he listened and paid attention. The rooftop and stars were important to the man and the advisor wanted to do everything within his power to show that these things were important to him now too.

He loved making his beau happy, and he loved to do it.

Nida grins. His eyebrows even waggle.

"You've got a whole damn ass. And a beautiful one."

That has been so great to him.

"I want to help with whatever plan you have."

Ignis blushed at the compliment to his ass and tried to shake it off though it clearly had showed. "Yes well, I would most certainly say the same about yours in turn of course." Sometimes he wanted to just get his teeth gently locked on Nida's beautiful posterior and stay there.

But he seemed surprised when it was offered to have a helper in his plans. Even with being in a relationship some things were still kind of new to him but he smiled. "I suppose there are times we can go simple, with just a few comfortable blankets or so, some wine perhaps and candlelight."

Hyne knew that Nida would HAPPILY let his lover get his teeth there and leave a lasting mark. If he couldn't have the mass of tattoos he had in the last world, he could put up with some claiming bites.

"Picnic," Nida says, eyes lighting up even brighter. He loves to dance, but... Wow. "I love picnics."

One of his first dates was a picnic.

"A picnic is a splendid idea." Ignis smiled after he chewed and swallowed his bite of the fish. He wasn't sure why Nida's eyes seemed all lit up right now but he enjoyed the look anyhow. "I can cook whatever we wish, you can bake whatever you want and we'll pack it all up for a trip to the roof."

This time he did take out his book briefly and scribbled a few rudimentary notes. It would at least tag his mind to recall the rest of the plans that they needed to make. But then put it back away and nodded. "We can have one during the day or at night."

Or both.

"Oh come on now, picnics aren't about cooked foods," Nida laughs before taking a bite of the fish. And other conversation is lost over cooing on the flavor of the food.

"This is amazing. And come on, I can't bake. I can cut out cookies."

In the spring he wanted a lunch picnic. But in the winter, it needs to be something warm. Maybe just hot chocolate or coffee, curled up together, while the chill air helped sight of the stars.

"Then you'll be on cookies duty." Ignis agreed as he took another bite of the fish. It did turn out better than he had expected with it being his first time out trying this. The lads might eat anything he put in front of them. But feeing one's boyfriend was something quite different than feeding friends.

And whatever Nida wanted the advisor would give it if it was in his power. All he wanted was to continue to make his boyfriend happy and keep him safe.

Feeding one's boyfriend from your own cooking was something Nida had never experienced before Ignis, not in either role. So this was amazing in his book.

As for what he wanted... well, just the man's continued affections he thought.

"Sounds like a plan, dear."

With a small smile, Ignis felt his hand reaching up for the jade pendant he proudly wore now. For some reason just touching it was calming and reassured him that all of this going on was quite real. And he always found himself looking over at his boyfriend throughout dinner for the same reason.

Dinner turned out excellent though Ignis privately thought about cooking it a little differently next time to make sure it flaked a little more.

When dinner itself was over Nida was clearly eager to bounce out of his seat to do the cleaning while the dessert is put into the oven. Yeah, he's really ready for this. The food is making him excited.

"Other than dessert, what would you enjoy tonight?"

Ignis helped clean up and watched with some amusement at Nida's eagerness. But this was a project they'd done together so he got the oven heated up to the correct temperature in order to get the apples ready to go in. And once they went in, he found himself at a loss for words.

He didn't want to sound lame but he really didn't know what to say.

Was Nida talking about actual dessert? Or was he talking about after dessert? Well if he was going to sound lame, then he was going to do so. "I don't have any plans other than spending it with you. I do however seem to recall a certain promise you made to me regarding this evening."

Nida laughs and holds a hand out to Ignis, hoping the man would approach.

"Come here, love. I think we might have time for a bit of rocking."
