Hello my lovelies! I can hear again, in case those who learned of my last issues were curious. What a horrible thing not to have when it happens so suddenly. So scary.

But there is a thing to be said of course. I had plenty of time to read while I was isolated, and I have become resolved. I shall be acquiring a lovely sweet fluffy rabbit for myself. Perhaps a second one later too. One of those with fur suited to thread, but it's not about that.

I've been looking at so many books to research what I need, but I realize there are not a lot of places in town where they have the things I would need. I know I need to commission the work for a hutch, but where in the world am I to find suitable toys for the thingS? I hear they like tunnels to snuggle in too, and I don't know how I'd achieve that.

Oh dear, I at least understood dogs, I was ready for one of those in theory. But this is so much to learn!

I think having a hutch commissioned won’t be too difficult for us to see to, but the toys are a bit puzzling, I admit. Some of the pictures of them look like thin wooden strips woven into small shapes for chewing. Perhaps someone who makes baskets might be able to advise us on how to fashion something small in suitable materials?

There is a lovely and talented wood working place that I will see to once I have information? But yes, those strange balls have confused me. I shall have to see if people make baskets here. Surely they must.

Perhaps one of the handcraft stalls in the market? I know I have seen people walking around with baskets sometimes, so they must get them somewhere. [ He snaps a finger with a thought. ] The bakery we got to has baskets for some of their displays. I could ask where they got them.

Oh would you my dear? I need to speak with the farmers to find who might raise rabbits for meet or wool so I can get a lovely little one.

Of course, I was thinking of stopping in there on the way home to see about getting something of a treat to have after supper along with a fresh loaf. So I’ll be sure to see what I can find out about where they got them. I’m looking forward to our new addition myself. You’ll have to teach me how to help out.

[ Llewellyn smiled a little. He was glad they were moving forward with this… It would be nice to see Rhy enjoy a pet that was truly his own. ]

Mm… on that note, I was thinking of putting some things in the garden that might be bunny-safe. What sort of leafy greens do you think would be best?

Wonderful, that sounds just useful.

From my readings, most leafy greens would do. It's things like carrots they should not have too much of apparently.

Then I shall see about picking up a variety of seeds and I’ll start a section of leafy greens that can be just for your little bunny to enjoy. We’ll see what it likes best once there’s enough to try. I didn’t realize that about the carrots, though. Seems like most often they’re associated with them.

Indeed. I don't know how much more happened because of my isolation, but I feel for those who suffered as I did.

From what I can tell, it varied from one person to the next. I ended up with some unexpected company due to it.

Sounds like you used your time on quite a bit of research, though. Always a good way to pass the time in my own experience.

I don't know about toys, but you might want to see if maybe the chocobo ranch as some soft straw? I can ask when I drop Haru off there.

It is? Was that why there were so many little rabbit decorations? How fitting.

Please do ask. I would love to get some straw. The books I said indicated they might both eat and nest in it.

I'm not entirely certain. Probably a reliable quantity once I have the actual little flopsy. But less to start with. I wish I had a more concrete answer.

I don't know if anyone there has rabbits too, but I can ask. And if they give me more than you need, then that's just extra for you to have for later I guess.

That sounds utterly horrible! I'm terribly sorry you had to go through that, but I'm pleased to know you're better.

Oh! Rabbits are so adorable! I'll admit I'm not entirely familiar with how one cares for them but I would love to learn as well. And if there's anything I could offer to make or help build I'd be more than willing to assist there as well!

Oh, I just assumed you'd be building a small hutch for them! If you needed help with that. I helped to put together the garden troughs on the roof of my school. It's a lot less complicated than a hutch might be or toys might be, but I would be happy to try to learn.

Oh, I most definitely do not know how to build things. I work in clothing, not wood sadly.

I will likely be paying someone to build it.

Ah, that's probably smart, you'll be guaranteed to get it down right and probably in a bit less time than having to learn how and then go from there.

Yes, I would hate for a rabbit not to have adequate shelter because I am a poor carpenter. That would hardly be fair.

I admit the only ones that have come to mind so far are Sweetpie and Flopsy.
