Hello my lovelies! I can hear again, in case those who learned of my last issues were curious. What a horrible thing not to have when it happens so suddenly. So scary.

But there is a thing to be said of course. I had plenty of time to read while I was isolated, and I have become resolved. I shall be acquiring a lovely sweet fluffy rabbit for myself. Perhaps a second one later too. One of those with fur suited to thread, but it's not about that.

I've been looking at so many books to research what I need, but I realize there are not a lot of places in town where they have the things I would need. I know I need to commission the work for a hutch, but where in the world am I to find suitable toys for the thingS? I hear they like tunnels to snuggle in too, and I don't know how I'd achieve that.

Oh dear, I at least understood dogs, I was ready for one of those in theory. But this is so much to learn!

I still don’t know how to get something through my foster sister’s head half the time, not without her finding a reason to tease first.

It is a rather… loose term, normal in the context that siblings tend to be difficult with one another at times… But I would say life situations are hardly normal even without counting where we are now… You rather struck me as though your life must be somewhat… complicated? When we last met.

Oh it was far more complicated in that moment than it has been lately. But I didn't even nearly die so it's been rather simple lately. Pleasant even. Enough for bunnies.

No. We met in a place known as The Sphere. Met, fell in love, dated, and married there. Then I arrived here, and then he did, and then somehow our dog even found us!

People tended to approach the subject more from an angle of teasing and amusement than honestly trying to nudge the man to live a little. ]

Almost sounds like something out of a story, that you’ve found each other twice like that with how unpredictable these worlds seem to be.

Well… While you clearly excel at and enjoy the trade you’ve taken up, I couldn’t help but notice while escorting you home the other day that you carry yourself with something more poised and dignified than someone who was raised to be a tailor might. As though you learned that it’s best to keep your head high and to maintain a calm countenance, even when you might not feel it. [ Tipping his head to the side thoughtfully, he continued. ] If I had to take a guess, I’d say you were raised as royalty, or at least some level of nobility.

[ Sorry, Rhy. This is why Waver is a problem in a room full of mages with secrets. He does sometimes realize after the fact that maybe he said too much, but whether he cares about that depends on the person he’s dealing with…

The man’s response, and the fact that the man hadn’t actively annoyed Waver, at least means he has the decency to feel awkward that maybe he’d shared a little more about his observations than necessary, even if Rhy had asked him to. ]

It's only that, of course, without confirmation. Speculation. One simply based on… my own unique experience with such people over the years. I don’t know that it’s something those without that kind of experience would think of or notice themselves.

Well, it is an interesting theory to have. Though I can't imagine knowing a lot of royalty or nobility is very fun.

No, they aren’t. Complete pains to deal with, and an utter headache for me. [ But Waver would say a lot of people give him headaches, including the people he cares about. Mostly because he has a hard time expressing his emotions without feeling embarrassed or confused. Mages were generally a little more… Put together in that respect. Another failing of his, perhaps. ] … But not all bad, I suppose, even counting the headache.

Incredibly. Though that is to be expected on some level depending on the person… [ The elite at the clock tower varied, and the royalty he’d been around… Well, they were too. ] But there’s usually something about them that makes you… decide to stick around, or to follow them regardless how much they test your patience.

[ Or Waver just gravitated towards people who challenged him, anyway. ]

Whichever you are, if you are one of them… I can say you seem at least slightly more reasonable compared to those I’ve dealt with, though that’s only based on one meeting. And whatever our life experiences were in our own worlds, as much as they still influence our thoughts and actions…? Here you’re a tailor and soon to be a rabbit keeper.
