I dealt with a lot of BS magic shit when I was younger that I had a lot less explanations for and so I didn't trust shit well.

Teach me to be careful what I say.

Anyway, if you need me to do something to, like, make it better, let me know. I don't remember all of the shit that happened or who I saw.

[ Mostly making sure everyone was doing okay and helping if they needed it when it came to deliveries. The more complicated number stuff was beyond the boy’s ability, after all. But he had known Tommy hadn’t been himself. At least not the version of himself that knew him. So the boy had kept his distance. ]

[ Mono was glad to hear that. He had been a little unsure of how well he had done! The apology gets a little pop of static over the tellphone, the kid’s attention shifting slightly. ]

I don't know that it's sarcasm. It's more of a shortening of 'that will teach me to be careful about what I say' and even then it's more of a 'wow I made a mistake' statement.
