So... Listen, I need to apologize to people for what happened last month. The whole 'hey there's young idiot Tommy being an asshole' thing. And the neglecting my work while that was happening.

I dealt with a lot of BS magic shit when I was younger that I had a lot less explanations for and so I didn't trust shit well.

Teach me to be careful what I say.

Anyway, if you need me to do something to, like, make it better, let me know. I don't remember all of the shit that happened or who I saw.

I suppose I’ve never had an occasion to share that here, beyond the few instances where my help was needed. It might be a bit complicated to explain compared to showing, though. I have the ability to call upon something called a persona, a representation of my inner self, that assists in fighting. It does give me something of a boost in agility, but nothing compared to yourself.

Yes! It is like that, though our experiences and methods somewhat differ. And while I know her here, I actually didn’t in my own world.

I wasn’t aware you and she were from the same world, either? Well, I didn’t know of Mitsuru, but I believe your point stands. It’s not entirely strange to not know someone from our worlds.

Yeah. She's just more up in different sorts of mutant stuff. My boyfriend back home has mentioned her.

Yes. She's with a group called the X-Men. She was specifically part of the New Mutants team, which David sorta worked with the second manifestation of.

And your team is a different one entirely from these X-Men or New Mutants?

[ Were there that many hero teams? ]

Yep. I worked with the Young Avengers.

I never would have guessed there would be so many. Does your team ever run into the others?

Of course. There's a whole world to save. Sometimes you have to work together.

True, the world is a large place after all… And if there are more groups, then it would make it easier if you worked together. It’s just difficult to imagine so many, I think?

Only because you haven't lived with it all your life. It's just... It's always been how life is for me.

You do make a good point… We never knew Mitsuru’s group was out there before arriving here. Now it’s hard to not wonder if there might be others. So I suppose that’s why it’s a bit harder to imagine compared to your experience.

[In Tommy's experience, what one person lived through, others were bound to have as well. That's just how it worked. Or how he felt that it worked. Who knew how accurate his conclusions were. And the answer was probably 'not highly.']
