So... Listen, I need to apologize to people for what happened last month. The whole 'hey there's young idiot Tommy being an asshole' thing. And the neglecting my work while that was happening.

I dealt with a lot of BS magic shit when I was younger that I had a lot less explanations for and so I didn't trust shit well.

Teach me to be careful what I say.

Anyway, if you need me to do something to, like, make it better, let me know. I don't remember all of the shit that happened or who I saw.

Leon chuckled. "So you thought I was bored. And if I hadn't looked so bored that means what? That you wouldn't have come talk to me?"

But then his eyes turned to Tommy.

"Um, what's wrong with walking?"

"Maybe," Tommy admits with a shrug. He wasn't sure about it. He was doing his best though.

"I mean, I guess I get bored if I'm not doing something."

Leon wasn't sure with the answers that he was hearing but things had gone the way that they did. Maybe it was for some cosmic reason such as the Aerith that he knew back home would say.

So the last comment had him wonder. "So, if you could be doing anything right now, what would it be?"

Honestly? He doesn't know.

"Probably working more? I should do that. So I can help with supporting all those kids."

Leon had to smile slightly. "You sound like a dad already." And then he shrugged and the smile slowly faded. "Not like that's a bad thing."

"Woah!" he says, raising his hands defensively. "Older brother. Not dad."

Blue eyes looked at Tommy and there was no reaction apparent.

"Alright, have it your way. Older brother it is."

"Well, now that we cleared that up, I guess I should probably get back to said work. I feel like I've taken a whole week off."

Leon shook his head.

"Alright well since you're better rested, I guess I'll get going."

Tommy nods and offers just a small salute.
