INTRO ~ FIRST MEMORY
Who; Naminé & OPEN
What; Wandering around the city.
Where; Around the city.
When; Late November
Warnings; N/A
It was all explained but it didn't feel like enough. A portal from her world to this world but why had it just been her? Riku had come to get her, he'd been there with her… reaching out to take her hand. The way he had to Sora many times throughout his memories.
Naminé clutched her palms to her chest, the blue bag she'd been given dangling against her stomach as she walked. She wasn't alone here but there was so much that she didn't understand or know. Who would answer her? What kind of world was this? It wasn't like Travers Town or Radiant Garden but it was similar in many ways. Was there magic here?
The questions were consistent and overwhelming and she didn't have an answer.
More of this world and her new life here was explained to her but she still felt awkward. She wandered through the city with no destination in mind. There was so much to see but her simple white dress wasn't warm enough as fall turned to winter. She stopped in the middle of the street and looked up at the sky.
"It's so blue." She shivered. "Cold..."
Her arms wrapped around her torso as she looked for a building that might provide her some warmth. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, only that she wanted to warm up.
Bodies were so strange...

Today though he was asked by some person if he had winter gear after he rescued their cat from a tree. Not knowing what that even was, he'd had to answer no. And then he was handed a bunch of things and told that he could keep them free of charge, as repayment for helping him out. Terra tried to protest but he wasn't listened to.
So now he sat on a bench and tried to figure out what to do with all of this stuff that had been piled into his arms. Hearing someone approach, he stood and noticed Namine coming towards him so he put down the things.
"Hey Namine." he greeted, trying to smile.
no subject
"What are you doing here?"
She hadn't even thought about working or money or food. There was a lot that she was going to have to get used too.

His brown haired head then tilted to the side. "What brings you out here? Figured you'd be working on settling in."
no subject
"Oh." Her smile widened. "I wanted to explore too. I've never seen this world before." And it was her first chance to see a world by her own hand, her own memories.
no subject
Namine wanted to explore and that was his cue. "I'll go with you."
To keep her safe.

It wasn't a outright offer, but a choice that way Sam hopes the woman won't feel like he's offering charity.

She smiled back at him, her blue eyes warm and bright like the midday sky. "Hello. Oh... thank you. I wasn't expecting the cold." Nobody's didn't get cold. She took the jacket and tugged it over her shoulder, smiling as its warmth seeped into her limbs.
"Would you really have thrown it away?"
no subject
Sam smiles sheepishly. "You got me," he admits quietly, "but you needed it more than I did. I don't feel the cold the same way other people do." Sam has always assumed it was because he had spent most of his life living on the road...or maybe it was because of his time in hell. "You can keep it though," he says, "I'm sure I'll get another one soon."
no subject
"Is there some way I could return the favor?" She paused thoughtfully before glancing around them. "Maybe I could draw you something." She had to get the materials but it was something that she could do.
no subject
"I don't know much about this world myself," Sam admits, "I'm pretty new too and still learning my way around."
He smiles. "You're an artist," he asks, "I'd love to have a drawing from you."

So he shuffled the brown paper bag in one arm and nodded at her. But when she looked at him he was somehow reminded of Lady LunaFreya.
Oh.
"Are you alright?" he asked, keeping his tone gentle and calm as it usually was.
no subject
"Yes. I was just exploring. Um... do you know somewhere warm I could go? I don't have a coat." She had never needed anything beyond the white dress and it was now problematic. This world was heading into winter and Naminé didn't know how to function as a human.
She had some munny but it didn't feel like a lot. She didn't want to run out and she would have to eat too.
no subject
He sighed and had made his decision. "I will bring you to the Red building where I currently reside. I can drop these groceries off, and I can take you shopping."
There was a gentle smile. "You're going to need warmer clothes than what you are wearing I'm afraid."
no subject
"Do I need munny? I have a little bit. That is, what they gave me."
Naminé pulled out the blue bag she'd been given. She didn't have pockets and didn't have a way to carry things except for the simple bag she'd been given.
no subject
"My apologies, I haven't yet introduced myself and here I am a stranger requesting your presence." He tried a smile and a slight bow with the bag in his hands.
"I am Ignis Scientia at your service. And to answer your question, no you don't need any currency, I will take care of it. You could simply call it a welcoming gift."

There was no denying her mind was wandering off to the sky. There was a particular bird up there that she was connected to and what she saw through it's eyes was pretty magnificent. The sound of a voice brought her back and her formally glowing white eyes shifted back to their purple color.
"Blue and vast. Like a sky ocean!" she gave a smile to the girl and then it turned into a slight look of concern. "I could take you somewhere warmer if you'd like!"
no subject
"It's beautiful." She had always wanted to see the ocean and even now, she longed too stand in front of the crashing waves. One day... she'd see it for herself.
Her expression softened into a slight frown. "Do you know of a place? I'm not used to the cold." This was the first time she's really felt it. This new body... was so strange.
no subject
"There are a bunch of places. Here," she took the jacket off her elbows and handed it to Naminé. "You can put that on until we get there if you'd like. I could take you to the building with your room or to a tavern for something warm to drink."
no subject
"Oh. Are you sure you don't need it?" She took the jacket and hesitated before sliding it over her shoulders. "Let's go to a tavern. I know where the apartments are. That is where I came from." And she wanted to learn more about the city. It didn't really matter where in the city she ended up.
no subject
"I can make myself not cold if it bothers me," she said shaking her head. "Just return it later, it's an important piece of home." There was a smile on her face as she said that and then she started to walk towards the market. "Do you like cider? They have really good cider!"

The large woman, making her way back from a day at the forge, immediately stopped, shrugged off her thick coat, and tapped the young woman on the shoulder.
"Here. This should provide warmth."
She could handle the cold better than most people here anyway.
no subject
Maybe her blue skin allowed her to not feel the cold? But then why had she been wearing a jacket in the first place? "I just-" Naminé stammered, trying to remember how to interact with other humans. "I don't want to take it from you if you need it."
Maybe she can buy one from... somewhere.
