INTRO ~ FIRST MEMORY
Who; Naminé & OPEN
What; Wandering around the city.
Where; Around the city.
When; Late November
Warnings; N/A
It was all explained but it didn't feel like enough. A portal from her world to this world but why had it just been her? Riku had come to get her, he'd been there with her… reaching out to take her hand. The way he had to Sora many times throughout his memories.
Naminé clutched her palms to her chest, the blue bag she'd been given dangling against her stomach as she walked. She wasn't alone here but there was so much that she didn't understand or know. Who would answer her? What kind of world was this? It wasn't like Travers Town or Radiant Garden but it was similar in many ways. Was there magic here?
The questions were consistent and overwhelming and she didn't have an answer.
More of this world and her new life here was explained to her but she still felt awkward. She wandered through the city with no destination in mind. There was so much to see but her simple white dress wasn't warm enough as fall turned to winter. She stopped in the middle of the street and looked up at the sky.
"It's so blue." She shivered. "Cold..."
Her arms wrapped around her torso as she looked for a building that might provide her some warmth. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, only that she wanted to warm up.
Bodies were so strange...

It wasn't a outright offer, but a choice that way Sam hopes the woman won't feel like he's offering charity.

She smiled back at him, her blue eyes warm and bright like the midday sky. "Hello. Oh... thank you. I wasn't expecting the cold." Nobody's didn't get cold. She took the jacket and tugged it over her shoulder, smiling as its warmth seeped into her limbs.
"Would you really have thrown it away?"
no subject
Sam smiles sheepishly. "You got me," he admits quietly, "but you needed it more than I did. I don't feel the cold the same way other people do." Sam has always assumed it was because he had spent most of his life living on the road...or maybe it was because of his time in hell. "You can keep it though," he says, "I'm sure I'll get another one soon."
no subject
"Is there some way I could return the favor?" She paused thoughtfully before glancing around them. "Maybe I could draw you something." She had to get the materials but it was something that she could do.
no subject
"I don't know much about this world myself," Sam admits, "I'm pretty new too and still learning my way around."
He smiles. "You're an artist," he asks, "I'd love to have a drawing from you."
no subject
"I just arrived too. I wanted to learn about this world. It isn't one I've seen before."
no subject
"This world is new to me too though the monsters in it aren't," he admits, "I had monsters back where I come from too."

Sam nodded and the nod almost seemed sad. "Other monsters, vampires, skinwalkers, demons. Things that want to hurt people in any way they can."
no subject
"It sounds difficult. Did you fight them? The monsters?"
no subject
Sam nodded. "My brother and I both did...do," he says, "our dad taught us how. There are lots of other people who do what we do."

"Key bearers," Sam asks, "what kind of keys do they use."

"Wow that sounds...interesting," Sam admits, "I've never heard of a weapon like that before and I've come across some pretty weird ones in my time."
no subject
"What weird weapons do you know of?"
no subject
"I've used a magical hammer, a knife called an angel blade, a magical gun that can kill anything," Sam replies quietly, "I also am trained in the use of magic."

Sam beams, it's rare he often gets to talk magic with people. The last person had been Rowena...and well thinking of her just hurt. "Magic from my world is based on nature mostly," he says, "we use a lot of herbs and plants in our working along with elements like angel grace and demon blood. Language is also important. We use many types. How about you what's your magic like?"
no subject
She shook her head. "It's hard to explain."
