I thought it might help
Who; Nida
skyward_eyes & Ignis
faithfulsupport for the first part, but then OPEN And Please feel free to set a prompt for Nida as well if wanted!
What; Discussion for Autumn wedding plans
Where; Their place
When; Before the plants invade
Warnings; None, will change if necessary
For Nida -
Today was a day that they both had off, so after breakfast, Ignis had cleaned up and got some coffee brewing. He had made quite the list in preparation for their joint meeting today and he kept having the sense of time ticking until they exchanged vows.
Clothing was sorted, food was still up in the air on some things but Ignis could whip up a lot of things in a hurry. The guest list was still to be determined, though they had spoken about a place to hold the wedding. Hopefully, the weather would cooperate and they could marry outside. But as to who was going to marry them, that was a thing that they needed to discuss too. And Ignis needed to clarify their theme and colours.
Outside - OTA
Ignis is walking around outside and is watching a few of the leaves fall. A few are turning colours and it marks the passage of time to him that he's been here almost a year. It's really strange to think about how simply landing in another world has completely changed said world. So he can be found looking at some trees just beyond a park bench. And as yet another leaf falls he smiles.
"It's quite the lovely time of year isn't it?"
Wildcard - OTA
[Feel free to make something up, I'm game! Nida is available for prompts too!]

So he thinks an accent isn't bad.
"Do we need more? I haven't been to many weddings."

"Gold definitely evokes the leaves for me too. The only argument for silver is the rings."
What? Nida liked his silver band thank you very much. The damn thing was practically radiant against his skin tone.

"Is it possible to get flowers in those colors at that time of year? Whitish for silver, but in the red?"

The man with him had singlehandedly made this place a home and gave the royal advisor a reason to get up in the morning and to keep going. And there were nights he banished the thoughts of what his life might be like without that love and devotion.
At the question he had to think. "I met a man named Cloud at the Flower Festival. He informed me that I should look for someone named Aerith for flowers."
no subject
"Careful, dear, you'll distract me from our work," he laughed. "But alright, we'll find Aerith. Did he give us any way to find her?
no subject
At the question he thought back and shook his head. "I cannot seem to recall. But surely there's a way to find her. Mayhaps she'll post to the network or something along those lines. Or, we can check local flower shops to see if she's perchance running one."
no subject
"Alright, we'll look for that. That's flowers. We can hopefully ask her how to do what we need. What's next for planning other than finding her?"

"I want... I want trees. I want to be able to see trees and smell them and feel the breeze."
Who would actually be marrying them? An interesting question. He considered that, fingers tapping against his chin.
"I'll ask my boss who might handle those things here. He'd know the formal procedures no doubt."

"We could have an area cleared out around the Lodge if you'd like to sketch some details." It might cost him some favours, but Ignis was willing to do it. And besides, he hadn't seen Nida use his sketching set in awhile now.
He nodded at hearing the part about the pastoral duties. "Well the sooner the better on that I suppose."

For a moment he missed his selkie friend and their jugs of spiced cider.
"Well, if you think I might be able to come up with something nice, I can try. Uh... Guess I need to come see what the lodge looks like. You'll let me do that?"
no subject
He would be right on that count of course, but Ignis wasn't one to do anything in public except maybe small kisses or holding hands as far as he personally went. "And I would be more than happy to see you there."
Of course he was well aware of the alcohol aversion but there was plenty of tea. He just didn't know about the whole spiced cider thing.
no subject
"I would be happy to be seen nea-"
The comment is drowned out as the sounds of a bit of a brewing conflict came out. Nida could hear Julia starting to growl low in her throat. Which could only mean one thing given Ebony and Julia got on well. Nida jerked to his feet quickly and almost dove across the room to grab Hibiscus, who was moments away from her beak moving out to try and pluck one of Julia's feathers in a teasing way.
The chicobo made chirps of frustration and distress, flapping her developing wings, and Nida groaned.
"Ig, lovely, mind getting her harness and leash? Someone needs to stay by the table and leave Jules alone before her and Ebony start plotting for fresh poultry in their diets."
Clearly Hibiscus was going to have to come with him on the trip to the Lodge.

The chocobo chick was causing trouble and of course had put herself in a precarious position. But before anything else was accomplished, Ignis scooped up his coal black feline and deposited her into his room and closed the door. After that he got the harness and leash as requested, handing both to Nida silently.
"Ebony has been taken care of."
no subject
That was going to be a thing.
"She hasn't had a morning walk yet, and still thinks Julia is a sibling from the feathers. Sooner or later Hibiscus will realize it."
no subject
It made him smile at the two of them, and was always happy to see them interacting. To think that this little red chocobo was going to be the one to make a difference in Nida's life so he might not be so scared of them from now on.
"I didn't realize she needed to get up earlier than you do. So I can take her on morning walks in that case." This was him trying to help here.
no subject
"Alright. a bit more thought before a walk?"
no subject
Of course Ignis wore his engagement ring and kept it in pristine condition beneath his gloves, and when it was towards the end of the night, the gloves came off and the ring was on display.
no subject
There was the flicker of desperation in his voice.
