The blue chocobo Haru too is nearby, pecking at the ground, occasionally watching the dog.]

I know it's a bit early to tell, but I hope the snow doesn't get to the point of being stuck in the house.

[He turns only slightly to the camera and then looks away from it.]

But it makes me wonder..what did everyone else do during the winter in their worlds?

There actually is no snow on Hala. My first time experiencing the winter was here. So winter was much like anything else.

Wow, that's amazing that you've never had snow except for here. Do you like Winter then?

It has been a delight. Building little people of snow has been a delight.

Snow people are fun. Are you using carrots for noses and buttons for eyes?

Carrots? Why would I use a carrot? Noses are not orange.

And why would they need a scarf?

That's the way that they're made back where I'm from. But there's no reason that they can't be done differently here.

Ah. Do the snow people get cold? Or do they just like fashion?

[areasontohope]

[He couldn't help but laugh a little more.]

It's just a tradition people have back home to dress them up that way.

Ah. I shall attempt it in my winter building of them. I try and make one each year.

I'm not sure if it was last Winter but someone made a whole row of them.

A whole row! Their hands must have been so very cold. How do they tolerate this?

They wear gloves.

Gloves? I cannot imagine what leather gloves would manage to do. And my forge gloves keep away heat, but they would suck up water rather easily.

No, the snowmen are usually given knitted gloves, ones made from yarn.

Really? But they do not have hands to get cold.

Usually they have little sticks for hands.

How interesting. I was not aware of that.

[Still, she can understand why that might be. And it would look better.]
