Reverie
Who; Yin and OTA
What; Yin is spying around the city to familiarize herself, and possessive over her new item that sprouted, plus any ideas anyone might be interested in, willing to do starters
Where; The fountain / anywhere with water
When; Anytime, backdating is good
Warnings; Blindness, spying with specter, will add as needed
Fountain Spying
Anyone passing by the fountain will find a short, thin young woman at the fountain. Her hands are dipped inside the water, as far down as she can put them.
Some might see a transparent, ghost like figure pop up out of the water, with what could be eyes and a mouth. The spirit looks at anyone around and studies them, carefully.
Anyone is welcome to approach her and ask her what she's doing. Yin will be left having to simply say the truth, as she isn't programmed to lie, and thinking along those lines isn't something Dolls can do, typically.
There are other places the spirits might show, like puddles, leaky facets, glasses of water, pots, anything with water. Maybe they see nothing particular interesting, but perhaps they spot things they should not be privy to.
Trinket
Yin wasn't sure about it, but since others had mentioned it, she did plant the seed that was delivered to her.
When it sprouts, and when she gets to the inside of it, she has to stop.
She can only see what she has by using water to look at it. Once she sees what it is - a photo of her, a black cat in her arms, and not far from them, a man dressed all in black with a deadeye stare - she never goes anywhere without it. She typically isn't capable of being possessive, so hopefully no one asks to see it.
She might not seem like herself if they do, by pulling the image away and shaking her head. Not this one, no.
Wildcard: Anything else? A request? She isn't the easiest to interact with, but I'm willing to discuss.

"I hope we, also, can return."
There were so many things Yin had taken for granted. At least now she understands that.
"It feels a little different. But it has moon light." She lifts a hand, remembering what it feels like. "And it is warm."
no subject
Instead, he quietly considered the way she described the moon of this place by comparison and nodded. The light was a given, but he had never considered if moon light was warm or not.
Tapping his chin lightly, he nodded and turned his attention back to what Yin was doing. “Warm… I suppose that the light it casts must be. Perhaps I have not paid enough attention, as I’ve never been without it beyond stormy nights where the sky is clouded.” Smiling to himself, he continued. “I shall have to pay closer attention in the evenings.”

Yin stops as she listens to Yusuke.
"After you do, tell me how it felt, to you?" Yin suggests, again, that slight curiosity of hers rising.
no subject
And Yusuke has his own curiosity as he looked to the canal with a tilt of his head. “And how do you find the waters here? Will the routes that follow them be useful for getting around and observing the city?”
no subject
Yin nods her head, then adds proper words to her response.
"They help. I can see a lot through them."
no subject
But he’s more pleased to hear that the canals would make things a little easier for Yin while she explored the city. “Wonderful, I believe they run through much of the city, at least around the markets and more populated areas.”
no subject
"Yes," she nods her head, they do run through there. "Helpful if anything changes." Because she can still use them.
no subject
Yusuke does realize, rather late, that he should ask a follow up question on the subject of Yin’s specter. “Out of curiosity, I know you said that it did not matter what kind of water you used… What of ice? If the water source you were using ah… suddenly froze, for instance, could that cause some difficulties?” He asked only because his persona wielded ice and while he had excellent control of the ability? He’d often worried about the chill it brought making things slippery… But what of other complications? Best to ask, perhaps, in case he ran across her when things got rather chaotic.
no subject
It's a fair, and good question.
Yin shakes her head, and follows up with a slow, "Ice does not work.*"
[*ooc note: to my knowledge it does not. Her canon is not the best at details in most cases. Other Dolls in her world DO use reflective surfaces, instead of water, and actually could use ice to still observe. ]
no subject
Yusuke makes note of her answer, it’s something to be careful of then. “That is good to know. I shall be sure to keep that in mind should we bump into each other during one of the more chaotic situations that crop up here.” He would hate to use Goemon at an inconvenient moment, after all. Freezing the wrong thing could prove rather dangerous for her, he imagined.
Though that also leads to a secondary thought, knowing that there is more than magic or abilities to worry about. “I suppose that means the winter months may make things complicated for you?”
no subject
"It would matter? If we run into each other?"
There's a solemn nod. "Usually there is still water, somewhere." But it's not the easiest. Also, while Yin won't complain, it is very cold to her delicate hands and feet.
no subject
“It could. One can never know what details may be important until you’re in the moment.” Some details he decided were reasonable to share given he found himself in need of his persona often enough over the years here, and other bits can be kept to himself. “For instance, I have a particular ability that’s element is ice based. I don’t go around using it carelessly, but it brings something of a chill? So, I would hate to cause a potentially important source to freeze.”
Yusuke would say that a complaint about the cold on her part would be well founded, if she had been the sort to complain. Just because he was somewhat resistant to the cold didn’t mean he couldn’t consider the lack of comfort others may feel.
perhaps we could wrap this as well and start something newer for them?
Yusuke's answer gets a nod from Yin, showing she understands enough, at least the possibility of abilities clashing, and she doesn't need full details for that. She does tilt her head for a moment, almost like she wants to ask more.
As for complaints, she's still not used to thinking of those as acceptable. She's not programmed to express her own discomfort, and most of it is so muted, Yin doesn't feel a need to say anything, either. It is something time might still help with.
Yeah totally <3! He'll probs just keep showing her around for the afternoon lol
That sorted, his tone relaxes from its concern and curiosity a bit and he follows the path of the canal thoughtfully. “Now, let us continue to follow the paths of the canal to see more of the city!” He ends with a little flourish before allowing her a moment to prepare to move forward. It was a big city, and he was quite happy to be a tour guide after having been here for as long as he had.
