Hello. I have been told that this device, as primitive as it is, is a form of open communication to the community of residents here. Who seem to mostly be human. But that is another matter entirely.

I am Lauri-Ell of the Kree. I have some questions that I wish to see if people can provide answers to.

I have been told that I am stuck here and cannot return to space where my people are. I have been allotted a residence as well. It is much larger than I have ever had to myself. Not like my sister's place, but it's... Empty.

Is there perhaps somewhere that I could acquire cut flowers to liven up the room? Nothing potted.

No. Not at all. They wanted the rich soils because it would make the Deathbloom grow larger, faster, stronger. And thereby be able to kill all non-plant life in the universe.

It still sounds like warring over resources, regardless of the motivation.

I do not believe it is as you see it. They have a personal grudge against my people, and those of my Emperor. And for that they lash out at animal-evolved life. They wished to return the universe to a guardian. With no animals at all.

It's worse, then. Humanity was trapped in the middle.

Until the Emperor took the throne, we were fighting because we had always been fighting. I know the origins of the war, of course. But the purpose was long since foolish. Now we fought because we had always fought, and for those who had already died. No good reasons.
