Okay, all my non-locals who have set up or helped set up businesses, I need input.

Minimoff Deliveries is growing a bit faster lately than expected, and the stall isn't enough. Anyone got ideas on how to go about securing, like, a loan or something to get a slightly larger place? I feel like the crew and I need an actual building now.

It needs to be a place that's market adjacent or in it, and I've got my eye on one that has two levels and so can serve as a great base of operations. But damn I need a bit more coin to manage this.

Most of what I make goes right back into the business, so it's not like I'm rolling in the funds to secure a whole building and do the renovations for it. Thoughts? Advice? You can have reduced cost deliveries for thought help. Please, I need to be good to the crew here.

Cool. Then...

[He just moves to gather up a number of dishes, balances them on his arms like a fucking talented waiter like he is, and whisks them off to a table.]

[Ignis just smiles at Tommy.]

Glad to see that you brought your appetite.

[Because the truth was that he was often hungry. It was a mutation thing.]

[There was a smile on Ignis' face as he said that.]

[He smirks and, once the table is set he sits at it, clearly taking time to relax over the drink.]

So, what's the lecture going to be?

[Ignis smirked at Tommy as he began plating his own food.]

And wherein did I say there would be a lecture?

[Tommy gives his boss a look as if to say he's expecting one whether Ignis says it's going to be one or not.]

You're literally the only one around here with the balls to try and tell me to take care of myself or what to do.

[Except kinda sorta Leon but that's a whole other thing.]

[That had Ignis chuckle good naturedly.]

While you're out taking care of the couriers, it's always a good idea to have someone at your back.

I suppose I am.

[He had united those kids together into something to make them safe and provided for. That was a reason to keep going.]

Sometimes people need small sorts of heroes too.

No doubt they would consider you something of a hero?

[Ignis thought Tommy's efforts should be rewarded somehow even if it was just that thought.]

I don't know. Maybe they do. I'm just trying to help though. And this shop could help, a lot.

[Ignis smiled and sat down with a full plate.]

No doubt your current heroic efforts shall require funding.

Yeah, I guess if you call them heroic. We're just trying to deliver packages here. And, you know, take care of the kids.

Taking care of children that aren't your own in a world not your own. That is a noble effort.

[Ignis smiled.]

Then what will it take in order to keep things running smoothly?

[Yes it is, but he feels embarrassed when it's put like that.]

I just... I wanted to help Mono, and Billy. And now Billy's gone and I've got all of these other kids and Mono is the best little lt a guy could ask for.

But I need this building converted so I can help them more.

[faithfulsupport]

[Well throwing Mono into the picture made the whole thing a lot more personal for Ignis so he nodded.]

Alright, then what precisely needs to be done in order to accomplish such a task?

I need to buy the building. I need to convert it.

[faithfulsupport]

Do you have people that can do that? Convert the building?

[doubled_speed]

I can probably hire people. I don't know a lot about it myself. Guess I could also research it at the library and then do it myself. Not like I don't have time for that.

[faithfulsupport]

Or I can put the word out in the Lodge that you require assistance for the children. I'm quite sure you'd have plenty of volunteers after that.

[Ignis took a sip of his drink to give Tommy a moment to ponder it.]

I don't need assistance for the children. They are capable of handling themselves. I just need the rebuilding aid. Which if I can get the loan to buy and refurbish the building, I'll have the money to pay.

[faithfulsupport]

[Ignis shook his head and held his words on that.]

And I suppose you'll have some type of heating in there considering winter will be upon us soon?

Oh yeah, definitely know I am going to. Like, I'm a speedster. We don't go well with the cold. I can't do it at all. So plenty of warm spaces for the kiddos and me.
