Good news all! I finally got the little lovelies that are going to be living with Llewellyn and Pretzel and myself. Here, let me see if I can get them to pay attention for a picture.

[And yes, he's definitely included an image of not one or two, but three baby bunnies]

Sweetpie is the white one, Sugarbeet is the dark one, and Flopsy is the slightly gray one. The breeder had all three and my research said that it was better to have at least two for company but then I'd have to have left one behind and I just couldn't!

Look at them. Aren't they the sweetest little ones? Look at their faces!

They are SO SOFT. You should pet them. I'm supposed to help them acclimatize to being handled so that when they are older I can collect their fur for yarn. Who wants to pet the babies?

It wasn’t quite as full as Llewellyn wished as well, but perhaps one day… And if not, the man already considered himself lucky enough to have the family that he had now here, with Rhy. He’d already lost or lacked so much in his life before meeting the man. He was happy to have this now. “I believe we are. I feel quite mm… lucky to have found such a cozy little family here with you. It’s more than I could have ever imagined for myself, my love.”

"More than I might have imagined for myself as well," Rhy admits. "When I first came to the Sphere was... far less positive about the future. There or at home. But you inspire such wonder in me."

Though he does laugh.

"Sorry I threw that pillow at you."

Llewellyn remembered it well. It had taken time to learn about Rhy and what he’d been through… But now it wasn’t hard to see the frame of mind the man had been in back then. “Our lives were quite different back then… I know I was quite uh- confused and uncertain myself.” The timing of these worlds was really something… He certainly had not been ready to meet someone like Rhy at the time, couldn’t have even imagined they would end up dating, let alone married. But now, here they were…

He felt a small chuckle bubble up at the reminder. “And I’m sorry I interrupted your nap, so I believe we were even.” He shook his head a little before tilting his head slightly. “It certainly got my attention, though. So maybe I should be thanking you.” He added with a silly little smile, he wasn’t sure if he would have struck up a conversation with the man if he hadn’t. At least not right away.

They weren't even, but he loves that the try to be now.

"And I don't mind you being thankful. I could definitely reward gratitude, if it was needed."

Llewellyn felt a small flush at the comment. His husband always did manage to take him by surprise with his words. “Oh? And here I felt lucky enough to have your attention and company, my love. To think I might have earned a reward greater than that.” He chuckled, drawing close and wrapping an arm around his husband, letting Pretzel run off into the house.

Rhy laughs and restocks his basket before moving to join Llewellyn in the walk to the house.

"I am lucky to have your presence in my life at all. You're all I've been looking for since I was a boy."

That gets a softer expression, glancing at his husband as he walked along next to him with the basket in hand. All he’d been looking for? Him? That was… really nice to think that he could be enough for someone. That he was what Rhy wanted, just as he was. “I’m glad that I could be that for you.” He offered quietly, a little catch in his throat despite the lighter mood. It meant a lot… “I think, even if I didn’t always know it, you were the same for me, my love. Mm… I always wanted someone I felt like I could be myself properly with, someone that… Well, I could find a home with.” and that’s Rhy. Whether they were at the Sphere or here or anywhere else? Rhy was home more than any place could be.

Enough? No, not merely enough. Llewellyn was more than he could have hoped for. Looking doesn't mean expecting to find.

"And look," Rhy says, moving up to the door and opening it for them. "We found it. Turns out it was right here by the door. How silly of us to leave it here."

Llewellyn felt a small smile at that, tilting his head as Rhy opened the door for them with a soft chuckle. “Mm, how silly of us indeed.” He followed the other inside, moving to take the basket and supplies from his husband’s hand to help him lighten his load and get indoors. “Lucky for us that you’ve found it again, knowing my own sense of direction and penchant for misplacing things.”

"Truly remarkable," he agrees with a grin once they are inside and the door is closed. "Let's get these green things put away. Shall I start the tea?"

Because they haven't come home until there is a cup of tea.

Llewellyn smiled lightly at the offer. Tea and a nice place to sit together sounded cozy after an eventful day.

“I like the sound of that. I’ll take care of the greens then, while you put the kettle on.” He added, moving towards the kitchen to help sort things out.

Rhy passes the basket over and moves to the stove in the kitchen, lighting it.

"The earl grey do you think?"

Llewellyn accepted the basket and got to work on putting things away carefully. Glancing over his shoulder, he offered a small, thoughtful smile. “Earl grey? Mm… Yes, I think that sounds good, dear.” He decided, making a mental note to retrieve the honey while putting stuff away to put on the counter to go with the tea. Maybe some biscuits too…

Biscuits would always be welcome in Rhy’s book. He did so love them.

“Lovely. I could use the dark tones a bit more at the moment.”

“Then that is what we shall have.” He agreed with a smile, finishing with the greens and then moving to sort through the cupboards to find the biscuits and such to go with the tea as Rhy worked on it.

Rhy smiles as he manages the kettle and gets their cups out.

"Was your day good?"

“It was.” He responded with a small smile once he finished putting everything and leaning lightly on the counter. “Though admittedly it’s mm… better now that I’m home with you.” Home with family, where they could enjoy each other’s company and relax for the evening. There was something particularly nice about knowing his husband would be there at the end of their work days…
