Good news all! I finally got the little lovelies that are going to be living with Llewellyn and Pretzel and myself. Here, let me see if I can get them to pay attention for a picture.

[And yes, he's definitely included an image of not one or two, but three baby bunnies]

Sweetpie is the white one, Sugarbeet is the dark one, and Flopsy is the slightly gray one. The breeder had all three and my research said that it was better to have at least two for company but then I'd have to have left one behind and I just couldn't!

Look at them. Aren't they the sweetest little ones? Look at their faces!

They are SO SOFT. You should pet them. I'm supposed to help them acclimatize to being handled so that when they are older I can collect their fur for yarn. Who wants to pet the babies?

Rabbits are apparently sexually mature anywhere around nine to ten weeks. So yes.

So you're just getting those and not any others?

Yes. That is the intention. I do not wish to be a rabbit breeder.

So they were just giving these away for free?

Oh no. I had to buy them. It is only right, the breeder did all of the work in supporting the parent rabbits.

[He then thought back to what Rhy said about reproduction and half smiled.]

I hope they're all separate then.

Oh yes, there are more. And I think the breeders do keep them separate. It's very good for them to do.

Is that the only breeder?

[Yuki paused a moment.]

I can't seem to recall seeing rabbits before now.

I doubt it would be, but I didn't really research much further.

[Rhy raises his eyebrow.]

I have rabbit for dinner rather often.

[Hearing about the rabbit for dinner, it brought up questions in his mind that he wasn't about to ask.]

I wasn't aware they were here. I guess I just didn't take the time to notice.

Not everyone is a fan of the taste, so I'm not shocked.

[And somehow he wasn't sure he'd try it anyway because of his cousin even if their curses were all broken.]

It is not to the taste of all. It is... I think the term is 'gamey'.

Gamey..seems I've heard that before.

[But he doesn't want to dwell on it too much.]

I've heard people describe deer or duck like that.

Oh yes. Venison is VERY gamey. I think duck tastes more... fatty to me. I've never been too fond.

I haven't had deer, but I was at a New Year party one time and they served a hot pot. i didn't end up trying any though. So I'll take your word for it.

Hot pot? I am not familiar with that. Can you explain?

It has broth, or soup really that's hot. Meats and vegetables are laid around it and you put the uncooked things into the soup to cook it. I think there was Tofu there at the time as well but I do remember green onions, cabbage and mushrooms too.

It can definitely be soup.

[And even though there'd been several, it still got crowded.]
