network [ voice ]
Good afternoon everyone, my name is Mitsuru Kirijo, though I believe I've spoken to at least a handful of you already. Still, it seems polite to introduce myself to those of you I haven't yet spoken with.
[ Her voice is rather formal and proper. Almost as though she were addressing a board at a business meeting. In truth, that wasn't too far off from how she was looking at things here. ]
Since my arrival I've been given a great deal of information and I must admit it was quite a lot to sort through. [ Her voice sounds a bit lighter there, with a hint of a smile hidden in her tone. ] Now that I've had sufficient time to organize my thoughts, I do have a few requests I'd like to make. [ She pauses. ]
To start with, I'd like a map of this place. I have not been here nearly as long as others, so perhaps someone else has something already started that I'm unware of. In that case, I would be more than happy to worth together to see what we can put together. I've been working on my own to compile as much as I can. I...have certain unique abilities that allow me to navigate, though I'm afraid it's much more limited than that of some. [ She pauses for a moment. ] I'm afraid I'm also not much of an artist, so I might require some help transferring my rough notes into something more clear.
[ After a brief pause she gets straight back to business. ] Abilities are another thing I thought we might organize more efficiently. From what I've taken note of there are numerous people here with unique abilities that might prove useful in various situations. I see no purpose in keeping secrets in a place like this, so I am more than willing to discuss my own. More importantly though, I am interested in cataloguing your abilities.
I will be at the Historium for another few hours for those that would feel more comfortable speaking in person. Thank you very much for your time.
[ ooc: if you'd like to meet her in person, feel free to just go straight to action in your comment. She's set up in the back of the Historium at a table that seems to have been purposely picked to obscure her from immediate view. ]

Can't set up proper listing of patrol routes without it after all. And maybe the Historium can help you with more of that.
As for abilities, what do you consider an 'ability'?
[Voice]
Precisely what the word implies, a skill or proficiency in a particular area.

I think you'll have trouble finding out what the... 'guests' of the Aspects can do here. We're often very private people. And it takes time to trust someone enough to talk about those things. Just asking it in the open like this... Well, I do wish you luck with that. I just don't know if it's going to go well.

Delivery for Mitsuru Kirijo!
no subject
I'm Mitsuru Kirijo, [ she gave him a polite bow ] though, I apologize. You must have me confused with someone else, I haven't ordered anything for delivery.
no subject
No mistake. You said you wanted maps. These are some of the ones the kids and I have made for delivery routes and pickups and that for deliveries and letter rubbing. They're not, like, really high end like city ones. Lots of it is about landmarks to help them navigate because not all the kids are learning reading fast. But we've made these, and it helps them.
These are the ones I keep for the business, but if you've got paper and stuff, I can copy them for you quickly.
Oh, I'm Tommy by the way.
no subject
Tommy? Ah, Mono told me about you and your delivery business. That's rather industrious of you to start up a small business on your own in a place like this.

I’m glad to hear your map project has progressed so well! Of course, I’d be happy to offer assistance if you’d like? I’ve never worked with a map before, I confess… But if you’ve already gotten the coordinates and a layout of the city put together; I think it would be able to do something with it?
[ And… The second part of her post left him somewhat intrigued, given she’d never indicated having abilities to him before.
Not that he could say much, he hadn’t either. ]
Cataloguing the abilities of those around would be an interesting endeavor for organizing in the future… but I wonder if everyone would want to be so open about such things? [ A pause. ] I admit, even I hadn’t realized you had abilities during our time together.
Video;
As I said, there is little point in obscuring that here. Athalia has made it quite clear that magic is, or at least was, quite common in this world. In addition to that, there have already been many who have mentioned their abilities in the past. Those who still wish to hide theirs are more than welcome to continue doing so. Though, it would be a pointless endeavor. [ After all, her own abilities allow her to sense certain things about people. ] I apologize for that, I hadn't seen a point at the time in disclosing that information. Especially to someone that seemed to come from the same world as I do. I'm certain you can understand how I might be hesitant to reveal something like that to someone that's aware of my status as the head of such a prolific group in our country.
Video;
[ No point in procrastinating, not with such a potentially helpful project he could assist with. She could probably hear him gathering up things as things rattled or clinked lightly in their tins or cases. He does pause as she explains her reasoning for not mentioning her abilities to him before… It’s hard to be cross, considering he’d been withholding information himself. ]
I can see the sense in such caution, revealing too much to someone you had hardly known at the time would be considered foolhardy by some. [ Especially, as she said, given that he knew of the group she was the head of. ] But now you are more interested in sharing such knowledge?
[ An exchange would only be fair, in that case. Even if he felt some apprehension at doing so… It was hard to say what kind of abilities she had and how jarring learning about something like the metaverse might be, even for someone with some sort of ability. ]

[ Though, she appreciates that he seems uninterested in procrastinating and wants to get right to things. It's uplifting to think there are others here that are interesting in getting straight to work. ]
Now that I've spent time conversing with others, it seems it's rather common for people to have strange abilities. It also seems like those abilities have been rather useful in dealing with situations that arise here. [ So, it just felt foolish on her part to continue to hide it. ] I've learned that in problematic situations it can often be undesirable to keep too much hidden, even if you think you may have the best of intentions.

I'm a wizard, by the way. Harry Dresden. I've got an office down in the market district, or I can swing by the Historium, but directions might not be a bad thing. I swear that place shifts around.
no subject
You're...a wizard? With an office? [ He says that so frankly as though it was something he said rather often. She was rather curious about the office idea...] If you don't mind, perhaps I could stop by your office.

[You could hear the smile in his voice.]
That's right. It's three doors down on the north side of the road from the Market District Tavern. I keep my lab in the back, so I'm there pretty often, even if the "closed" sign's turned. Just give knock of it's after hours.

I have a layout of the city that I can provide you. It isn't fancy or complete but it is accurate and has a handful of key locations and landmarks labeled.
The forest is not mapped and changes.

[The lovely face smiles at the screen while the young angel continues in a sweet angelic voice.] I am called Inesa here. If you wish to learn of peoples abilities, I am able to heal as well as communicate and manipulate natural magics. There is a bit more but I am untrained and learning.
If there is a skill you require... perhaps I can assist.

[She is very bad at explaining things so she reaches for one of the many plants in her home and moves it into view. As her hand reach out towards the leaves the wine begins to grow and wrap around Inesa's fingers.] Like this but with any element of nature. There is water in the air and wind in the sky. I am able to touch and bend any aspect of the natural world and the magic that exists in this world.
I have my own magic as well that is within me and it helps but I try not to alter the worlds I travel too. It can be dangerous if the worlds balance is disrupted.
