A. 23rd Residential Buildings
The young woman hasn't had a chance yet to replace her school uniform. There's a slight bit of awkwardness in her mannerisms about that, made most apparent by the way she seems to keep her arms wrapped around herself. Almost as if she thinks she can disappear into herself by doing that. Of course nothing is quite that simple. In the back of her mind she keeps telling herself that there's no need for awkwardness. After all, back home on a Saturday juts like this she'd be traveling through a sea of other students in their uniforms. This isn't home though and she can't help but feel like the uniform just makes her stand out.
There's not too much she can do about that particular fact at the moment though and her mind wanders quickly to the vastness of the situation at hand. Nothing about this place is similar to anything she's ever seen before. She holds the red key as she looks up at the buildings trimmed with their different colors.
"Green, Blue, Gray and," she looks down at hers, "Red. What does it mean? Why are we being categorized like this?"
B. 24th Market District
The market was like absolutely nothing Mitsuru had ever seen before and there was no denying that it was overwhelming. There were things Mitsuru needed though and so she'd made a list and headed out. The list was something she was clinging to as she walked through the open-air market with an icy expression that revealed nothing of her inner thoughts about the place. At least she was quite good at hiding her emotions, which hopefully meant that she wouldn't need to worry about embarrassing herself too much here.
In order to further avoid the potential for embarrassment she also seemed to be doing her best to avoid people in general. All of her attention seemed focused on her list and the various stalls and buildings. Nothing about this place seemed to make sense and she would even go so far as to say it looked like nobody actually planned the layout. Honestly, that in itself was a little frustrating. Frankly, it was just poor design. That wasn't something she needed to get distracted by though. She needed to be focusing on the list and trying to get out of here as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, the ever important list slipped from her hand and went flying off away from her.
"Come back here right now," she commanded. Because certainly commanding a piece of paper would work.
C. 24th Just Outside the Cemetery just as it's getting dark
Artemisia had noticed something just as the sun was starting to set. From the brief whisper that came into her mind she couldn't quite figure out what she was sensing. The most logical thing to do here would be to contact Shinjiro and have some sort of backup before she attempted anything. However, she wasn't really thrilled with the idea of getting Shinjiro involved in something dangerous immediately after their mutual arrival here. It was selfish of her, deep down she truly did know that, but everyone could be selfish sometimes. She justified going forward alone as something she needed to do. She'd been the one to sense it and it would make more sense for her to put herself in danger than to let someone else do it for her.
Wasn't it amazing how someone could justify something in their own head?
It was easy enough to locate the hooded figure as it rounded a corner. All she could catch a glimpse of at the moment was it's heavy brown robe from the back. From a distance it looked to be a fairly decent size, perhaps around four feet in height? She couldn't quite tell, which only compelled her to try to get closer to it. She continued after it, using Artemisia to keep track of it every time it sped up around a corner. Eventually it stopped attempting to flee just outside what appeared to be a cemetery. It wasn't somewhere she'd been yet, though it wasn't as though she was too familiar with anything here as of yet.
When the creature turned around she steeled itself against it's hollow eyes. It reminded her considerably of a shadow and yet she knew that wasn't what it was. A terror began to prick at the back of her mind and instinctively she reached for the Evoker on her belt. She brought the gun to her head and pressed (making quite a sight for anyone to stumble upon).
"I command thee," she shouted with an authoritarian voice. With an explosion the Persona appeared hovering slightly above her.The creature began to shuffle closer to her, closing the gap to where it was almost close enough to touch. With a flourish of her own rapier she pointed Artemesia forward to attack as she quickly maneuvered backwards. A flurry of ice like daggers formed in from of Persona and then cascaded into the green skinned creature in front of her. It stumbled back allowing for more distance between the two of them. The terror that had only been prickling at her mind had started to push down the closer it got.
To make matters worse she was fairly certain she was sensing another somewhere nearby. This was not a battle that she should be taking, though a part of her did want to stay to finish it off. She stole a glance back and noticed that it was slowly getting back up on it's feet and heading her way. She needed to make a choice. Flee or stay.
In the end she chose something in between. Her goal now was to gather intel. Unfortunately, her Persona was a bit more geared towards combat than support, which meant her scanning took longer than Yamagishi would have. This ended up leaving her slightly vulnerable to the growing sense of dread and anguish that the creature seemed to dredge up the closer it got. Perhaps flee would have been the better choice.
B. 24th Market District
But his own shopping was distracted rather quickly as a woman seemed to be having trouble. Mono was, if anything, a helpful child. Either helping to carry things, retrieving money stolen by pickpockets, or helping to get missing items back… This counted as the last one, in a way. Tugging his newsboy hat further down on his face to make sure it stayed on, he dashed by, “It’s okay, lady! I’ll get it!”
And he was off, chasing after the paper being blown on the wind. Quickly, though clumsily, as he skidded sidelong at one point and had to throw his arms out for balance, before jumping to climb up the side of a stall and using it to reach a higher point to try to grab it. At least the owner seemed familiar enough with the strange kid, and wasn’t too bothered by it as long as Mono didn’t knock anything over.
no subject
"Please, be careful!" She shouted firmly at the boy as he threw his arms out to catch his balance. Enough people around her had been hurt recently and the last thing she wished for was for another to be hurt while she did nothing to prevent it. She held her breath as he reached for the paper hoping both that he wouldn't fall and that he'd be able to retrieve her list.

Instead, he seemed to be mostly unscathed by the chase. Even if he had fallen, he was pretty used to landing on his face… Six used to shake her head at him for that, but he was terribly clumsy. “I’m fine!! I know I can get it!” He responded over his shoulder, making it rather obvious he wasn’t too concerned about it. He was more intent on the list. So once he was in a decent place to reach the paper, he hung onto the sign resting on top of the stall and leaned forward. His fingers wiggling a little as he tried to catch the edge of it… Just a little further!! “It’s just being kinda silly.”
Wobbling a little, he edged a little further off the edge in an attempt to catch a hold of it. Sorry, Mitsuru, for the worry.
But with a little luck, as a breeze nudged it back his way, he managed to catch hold of it and tugged it free. Turning and waving it excitedly in the air for her to see. “I got it!!!” He called out, sitting on the edge of the stall roof and grinning rather triumphantly.
no subject
"Careful, you're going to fall!" her fingers instinctively reached for where her evoker was, preparing just in case she needed to have access to quick healing. This child was going to cause her to have a meltdown, it was like dealing with a younger version of Akihiko.
"Then you can come back down," she said rather firmly. "Or...can you? Do you need help?" she asked tilting her head up at where he'd sat down. The others would probably all say she was being ridiculous, it wasn't even that high up on the roof of the stall.
no subject
And to be entirely fair to Mitsuru, even if he wasn’t admitting it, Mono fell from varied heights all the time. He wasn’t the most stable on his feet, and sometimes he had to leap before he looked… But he’d been doing really well with his lessons since arriving in this world, and he was getting as good at climbing down as he started with climbing up.
“Okay! I gotta return your list, anyway.” He finally responded a moment or two later, tucking the paper in his pocket for now and working on climbing back down the side of the stall. “I got someone teaching me how to do this better! I climbed up and down the Historium without any ropes already this month!” It was a source of pride, after all, to have managed that when he’d always had a harder time climbing down from heights than going up them.
His feet met the ground soon enough, and he turned quickly to Mitsuru to deliver her lost list, only to trip over an uneven cobblestone and ending up flat on his face. All that and the kid still managed to fall… Drat!
no subject
"Are you alright?" she asked quickly as she began to look him over for any potential serious injuries. "You really shouldn't do such foolish things simply for someone else's lost paper."
no subject
He pushed himself up and rubbed the side of his face. There was a small scrape, and a bruise was already forming. The kid didn’t seem bothered, though. It could always be worse. “Yeah, I’m okay, I’m just clumsy.” He was glad the fall hadn’t happened on the way down the stall. That would be embarrassing to admit to his teacher. This was just him being clumsy as usual. “Yeah, but you might not have gotten it back if I didn’t!” He responded as though that made perfect sense, before digging the paper out of his pockets to present to her victoriously.

Shinjro log contin.
"Knowing that would make things too easy, wouldn't it?" She shook her head at his question and let out a breath of a sigh. "Easy would be certainly be a welcome change for once." After everything that had gone on they deserved a bit of easy.

"They said they want us to rebuild this place, but I don't get it." And he wasn't stupid. It just didn't make sense.

"A lot of this place sounds like bullshit, Mitsuru, and you know it."
no subject
"I've seen mention of Aspects that have given the others here some of the information they have. It seems as though they might not know much either, despite being from here." Or at least she thought they were native to this place. That would require a bit more looking into.
no subject
"If they're not full of it, then what?" Usually, when Mitsuru retorted with something like that, she had an idea in mind. Maybe there was some angle she'd caught that he'd missed. He'd been sort of...distracted at the time, after all.
He nodded at her explanation. "So...like us, then." They certainly hadn't really known what they were getting into when they signed up for anything.

A
Until he started asking around and then he was really interested.
Going out his door, he happened to see someone new coming towards him, looking for a red building if he heard her correctly. Smiling, he pointed where she needed to go. "Red is that way."
no subject
"Thank you. I'm certain this is obvious, but I've only just arrived." At least she hoped it was obvious. It would be even more embarrassing if most new arrivals lacked her confusion. "It's considerably different than Iwatodai or Port Island." As if that explanation should cover why she's found herself slightly overwhelmed.
no subject
He had no idea what was new or not so he planned to find out, but that would be after seeing the chocobos race.
Of course he had to shake his head. "I take it those places you mention are from your world."
no subject
"Yes, they're places in Japan." Did he not know where that was?
no subject
And at hearing the unfamiliar place he had to shake his head. "I've never heard of Japan. But are the places that you mentioned nice places to visit?"
He hoped heartless weren't a thing there.
no subject
"Hmm, I don't think I can be impartial in that. I've spent most of my life there and I'd say they're pleasant places to visit." If one ignores the dark hour of course. "All places have their flaws, but there are also many positives to it." A smile crossed her face as she thought of her home. She was going to do whatever it took to make sure she made up for the mess her family had caused there. "What about you? Where is that you're from?"

B. 24th Market District
Her focus deviated when she saw a small slip of paper fly from the young woman's hand and float into the air. She wasn't fast but she was young and full of energy. This made it a little easier for her to dash after the paper and grab at it before it flew any further.
Luna's steps were clumsy but with the list in hand, she walked back to the woman and presented it with a light smile. Her chin was raised in what she hoped was the noble look that her mother often gave the few maids that served them in the castle.
no subject
"Thank you very much." She offered her own gentle smile that she hoped expressed her gratitude. "I'm afraid I just arrived and don't really have any sort of reward."
no subject
Luna shook her head from left to right before digging into her pocket to pull out a small pad of paper and a pencil. The pencil wasn't sharp but she wrote elegantly and neatly before lifting the paper for Mitsuru to read.
'It is alright. I wanted to help.'
She opened the pad of paper to the first page where she had already written.
'I am Luna.'
no subject
"The help is greatly appreciated," she said with a smile. "I'll still have to keep repayment in mind." A Kirijo did not allow debts to go unpaid and this seemed like a debt. The list was important to her, if only just because it gave her a sense that she had some small amount of knowledge of this place.
"It's nice to meet you Luna. I'm Mitsuru Kirijo."
no subject
'It is nice to meet you. You are really pretty.'
no subject
"Why do write things?" Were one of the other members of SEES here they might point out the fact that one shouldn't just ask things directly like that. Unfortunately, they weren't and so her question came out directly, but without any hint of judgement on her part. Instead, she just seemed a bit concerned for her.
