I suppose that is a possibility for the list too… At least, I’ve known locals in worlds like this to change their opinion on people who didn’t belong in their worlds before.

Clearing his throat a little, he responded after actively taking a moment to think.]

There’s no telling if it’s the same or not though, I’ve been told I tend to jump to the worst-case scenario a little fast once in a while.

[That Jagger’s attachment to the gloves was complicated didn’t seem overly strange, it isn’t as though he had the details to make it seem like it was. It just made the detective curious.]

So they were second hand…? I presume there must be a good reason then, considering what you’ve mentioned about your abilities.

…yeah. Maybe it’s weird. They belonged to an older woman, who’d never had grandchildren, so she’d always taken care of all the neighborhood children. She loved people with her entire heart. They’re…comforting.

I don’t think that sounds weird… Sometimes it seems like there’s very little good in the world, it would be nice to have something that’s a reminder that there is.

Well, regardless, I miss them because they're mine. It's not that I can't live without them, but that I'd rather not.
