CONCERT 6PM
The fountain square was cold but not impossibly so. They could still perform and offer a bit of relief to those who felt burdened by this city.
She was standing on a small wooden platform that --with the Gullwings' help-- she had erected as a stage. It wasn't a large area but big enough for her and for Caelan. Handmade flyers had been passed around the week before and a small crowd had begun to gather, everyone wearing thick overcoats to ward away the winter chill.
Yuna exhaled, her breath puffing a silvery mist in front of her. She was wearing her gun-sphere attire with Caelan standing behind her in his usual loose shirt. They should be cold but adrenaline and excitement coursed through them both. Magic gathered around Yuna as warmth and excitement fell over the crowd. Her singing wasn't just her voice or the strings of Caelan's violin but every ounce of her magic flew on invisible cord over the crowd, lifting spirits and showing the world the strength of her conviction and warmth.
Her clothes glowed as the song began and moved over her frame before she was dressed in her songstress-sphere. Yuna smiled back at Caelan, they exchanged a warm look and the first song began.
They followed with another and then another, Cealan and Yuna had chosen five songs for their performance, ending at a song that had too many memories and at the end --again-- Yuna had to wipe away her tears. Caelan stepped forward and bowed next to Yuna, where the young hunter did the same. It was exhilarating and magical.
[ooc: The songs that are sung are violin renditions of the below with some techno from Yuna’s songstress that is never explained.

AFTER PARTY 7:30 pm
The songs had done the trick and as Yuna's magic twisted through the area, warmth and excitement continued to grow. Booths were haphazardly set up with drinks and food were sold. Nearby taverns had their doors open and the gathering turned into a full party.
Caelan continued to play but Yuna exited the stage to enjoy the ever growing party. After a bit, Caelan left the stage as well and the platform was filled with new players and even some drunk eager dancers. It was getting a little wild and Yuna hoped that the guard wouldn't have to be called to calm things down. At least she had a flyer that had warned everyone of the event a week ahead of time.
There was laughter and even some games being played around the square. It was amazing that things have grown this much and it appeared as if the evening was going to continue to grow in excitement.
EARTHQUAKE 10:00 pm
The earthquakes have been getting worse but Yuna had hoped that the concert might calm them somehow. It had been a long shot but it was worth a try and, for a moment, she thought it might have worked.
That was when the earthquake shook the fountain square. The stage had been filled by other players and various bold dancers but it couldn't withstand the shaking earth. One of the stage's supports snapped and the people went tumbling to the stone ground. Yuna looked around and prayed that the open space would keep them safe but stalls had been erected and the temporary booths weren't strong enough to stand.
The earthquake lasted ten minutes before it finally subsided, ending the party.

"Or does it? You never know! Uh oh," she giggled and then reached a hand out to balance herself on him. "You should have joined! They had drinks!"
no subject
"Aren't there...still drinks?"
no subject
"There are! Oh! We could get more together," she jumped up quickly and stumbled over herself before looking up at him. "Do you want one too?"
no subject
"Yes."

"That...isn't what I meant." Sometimes Vincent was sure Arkady only said things like that to make him awkward. She probably did exactly that and there was something he actually liked about it.
"Good. I...enjoy spending time with you."
