001 🔖 Crystal Broadcast ~ The Gullwings Reborn

[The voice that calls through the crystal is happy and energetic and... maybe a little too loud at first. These aren't like Shinra's commsphere's and she's still getting used to it.]

Yuna here!

I wanted to introduce myself but I also wanted to announce the formation of "Your friendly neighborhood gullwings!"

We're here for any odd jobs you have. We'll be protecting the city and exploring beyond the walls. I hope to bring back information and learn a little bit about this place and maybe why we were brought here. Anyone is welcome to join the Gullwings or these adventures. It might be dangerous so make sure you have a way to protect yourself if you want to go out there with me.

If I find anything I thought I'd bring it to the Hysterium? Is that what it's called? [Her voice gets softer and it doesn't sound like she's talking to the crystal.

After a pause, her voice gets louder again.]

Anyway. I'm really excited to meet you all. I can't wait to meet you.

Well, it's certainly easier to explain things, that's true.

Yeah! We'll figure things out if we compare our homes too or maybe we can write a dictionary for things...

What do you like? Like writing out what a Gullwing was somewhere or other details about our worlds, just as they come up...

I think you can get us started by letting me know what you can do, uh, magic wise I guess. It'll help distributing work.

Oh. I can do many things.

I can fight, I can heal. I was a Sphere Hunter back in Spira. [A beat.] Oh. Right. Sphere Hunter's are those who search for Spira's forgotten history.

I've spent a lot of time in caves and figuring out how to get into places that are magically warded.

...that actually sounds pretty exciting, except the whole fighting bit. I wager we'll find out fair share of magically warded whatsits to keep us occupied.

It was. I've always wanted a quiet life but I don't know if that's in my future.
