[The feed turns on and Joshua is seen kneeling on the floor. Cat cries are heard as he holds his hand out to a black kitten. Slowly it comes over to him and another voice is heard off camera, telling him to take it for free. Once the cat is in his grasp, Joshua uses his other hand to pick up the device and a black fuzzy face is seen.]

Are you sure I can take him home for free?

[Indistinguishable conversation is heard on the other side before Joshua speaks again.]

I can have the silver one too? I'm not even sure how to take care of them.

[A pause and his voice is full of wonder as more kitten cries are heard since the other one has been given to him to hold.]

They're a bonded pair? I suppose I could take them, but what will I name this other one? No matter, introductions first.

[The camera then rests upon a wooden beam and the black kitten is seen again.]

Alright everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Clive.

I haven't had much of a chance back home to become acquainted with them.

[Joshua smiled very slightly as he turned to look at the camera.]

That it seems to be.

[He still had so many questions, but this wasn't the time or place.]

Then you should take them. Live the life you otherwise could not.

[It took him a moment. The lady of course had a very good point and it was something he hadn't considered much. Joshua wasn't sure how much life he could have or whatnot, but he would help those out that he could.

Mayhaps it was as simple as starting to take care of who or what he could in the here and now. So he held the little cat up over his shoulder as he smiled with a nod in thanks.]

I know wisdom when I hear it, so I thank you.

[Just don't ask him what the wisdom was in taking his medicine or eating carrots.]

I do attempt to show wisdom. It helps me in my own growth. Such is how we grow, and learn from our mistakes.

Wisdom is just knowledge gained through experience.

[Oh, she's not used to that. The woman smiles warmly and joyfully at his comment.]

I am glad to offer help. It is what heroes do.

[With that comment, he smiled a bit brighter.]

You are a hero in my eyes. And if that's what it takes to be a hero here, then I shall willingly take up the mantle should it ever be my turn to offer assistance.
