[A woof is heard and Angeal's grumbled reply to that is heard as the feed turns on. But then the camera is seemingly travelling on it's own and Angeal's voice is only slightly raised with a commanding sort of tone.]

You bring that back over here right now.

[The camera moves again and Angeal's tone is still stern.]

Now drop it.

[The machine makes a thunk on the ground and only brown is seen as it falls into an unsuspecting freshly dug flower hole in the ground. A moment later, the device reveals a black thing as the former First is cleaning off the lens with his gloves hand. When he realizes the feed is on, he shakes his head.]

Sorry about that. Didn't realize the pup turned the camera on as he was carrying it in his mouth. He apparently thought to help me out by trying to plant it.

[There was a perfectly straight face on Angeal's face as he offered the name up.]

[Angeal couldn't help but chuckle.]

[A smile appeared briefly.]

[Zack laughs.]

Yeah, that's about what I expected to hear from you.

[Angeal couldn't help but laugh a little.]

And I've expected to hear all about whatever trouble you've gotten into in my absence.

[Trouble? Only emotional. But that doesn't matter now he supposes.]

I mean, I've been helping people out. Nothing really bad I think.

[Angeal's question held obvious notes of disbelief.]

Uh, yeah?

[Why wouldn’t it have been only that? Was it not enough?]

[Angeal smiled.]

Thought you might've made a gaggle of friends or something while I was gone.

[Oh. Zack sighs and wilts a little.]

It is hard to connect with the locals.

[Privately he hated that expression.]

I'm surprised. You don't seem to normally have that issue.

Yeah, well here things are really weird? And it's like... what if I disappear?

[ What a curious perspective the feed displays. Yusuke is rather intrigued by it. Ah, it all becomes clear as Angeal retrieves the phone and explains. ]

No need to apologize. The perspective granted by the angle and height at which the pup carried it was rather unique. Is your phone alright, sir?

[Angeal nodded.]

It looks to be in good shape more or less. Thankfully it's sturdy enough for a pup to have gotten a hold of it.

That is good, they do seem like rather durable devices. I suppose those who created them considered the accidents that might occur with them.

Such as an intrepid pup wishing to make use of it on its quest to bury it.

[Angeal folded his arms over his chest with a sigh at the pup.]

I'm not sure they thought about the tell phones becoming makeshift pup chew toys, but I'm glad they're durable enough to withstand it all the same.

Probably not… But perhaps they are designed with those of us who tend to be rougher or experiencing brushes with creatures whose jaws they might end up in by mistake.

[ Something a little more ferocious than a pup! But, ah… He supposes they may never know, without being able to talk to those who created them. ]

Might I inquire what your canine companion’s name is?

[Angeal nodded. The other man had a point and the tell phone wasn't ruined. It just had teeth marks in it as he turned it over in his hand, careful not to disturb the feed of communication that he was currently on.]

You may have a point.

[But then he looked at the feed and nodded with a head gesture at the dog.]

His name is Ursa.

[ Tilting his head, he seemed to consider the name and what he’d seen of the dog himself before nodding. ]

Ursa, hm? A fine name for a canine companion with his features.

[Angeal smiled.]

A friend of mine back home was really into constellations.

[bufubulous]

Constellations are always a nice source of inspiration; the night sky is something I’m rather partial to myself.

[ So his friend had good taste, Yusuke thinks. ]

I'm sure he'd appreciate hearing that if he could. But you're right, they do inspire things and laying out under the stars at night can be pretty relaxing.

Indeed, it can certainly be that as well. I find myself enjoying that more often these days. Seeing them within a city like Tokyo isn’t quite as clear.

"Tokyo?" That was a place he'd heard mentioned a time or two here. But it wasn't a place he himself was familiar with.

“That would be the city I lived in before arriving here. I suppose you must be from one of the worlds where it does not exist, then.” There were so many people from different places, it was always interesting to realize there were those from worlds with entirely different places in them rather than almost mirrored versions of worlds with the same places but slightly different aspects.

"Can't say it does." he replied honestly. However someone like Genesis would more than likely be interested. "Is it a busy place? Do a lot of people live there?"

Even if Gen wasn't here, he could still take some notes.

“It’s always so interesting to think about how many places it doesn’t exist.” He mused with a smile, and he offered a slight nod. “It is, yes. A very large city and lots of people. I used to people watch a lot when I was looking for inspiration, not that I don’t here, of course… But the difference is quite vast!” The kinds of people, the kinds of traffic, the amount of those about.

He nodded. "That sounds like where I worked. Huge building, so many people milling around both in and out of work."

Angeal laughed at the last part. "People watching can be pretty interesting at times."
