Somehow Zack isn't surprised, at all, to hear there is yet another threat to his beloved chocobos. There are some birds that he's basically been raising for a bit, and the idea that something out there would dare to eat him? Well, it gets him steamed up, each time.

So here is Zack, again, waiting at the ranch with his massive sword on his back, his old uniform and shoulder armor from home, and he's actively checking his materia.

All he needs now is the companion he had been told he'd be working with today in hunting down their targets.
