Well hello there, I hope this broadcast finds all of you well. As you can see, I've been rather busy creating new menu items to try.

[There's a brief pause.]

But before I introduce them, if you feel like sharing your own recipes from home I am more than happy to work on recreating them here. Now then.

Left to right, I have honey muffins, crab croquettes, a futo-maki roll, and I've procured the ingredients for a pizza which was a rather interesting adventure.

[Of course the pizza was made with a certain boy in mind that lived with him and one he made melted cheeses for all of the time.]

For dessert I've made an Apple strudel, and you can wash it all down with this concoction called Pixieberry tea. Do keep in mind it was made with strawberries which can be substituted for cherries. And if that's too much, I do have lemonade handy.

So do bring your appetites if you make it out this way to try these dishes.

May I ask what you've been working on?

[He cleared his throat, shrugging slightly as though this didn't make him awkward.]

Flavor profiles.

[There was clear interest in Ignis' tone.]

I'm all ears.

[castoredux]

[He nods.]

Been workin' on ramen. Usually, it's a family recipe, passed down and shit, but I never knew my family, so I'm startin' fresh.

[faithfulsupport]

[He wanted to say something in regards to family, but Ignis kept his mouth shut.]

How long have you been working on it?

[castoredux]

A few months. It just feels like it's missin' somethin'.

[And he can't figure out what.]

[faithfulsupport]

A few months, that's quite a task you've set for yourself.

[That had him think a moment.]

Perhaps have someone else taste it? Or you could think of what it would go with if this wasn't your own creation. Perhaps that might provide a hint?

[castoredux]

[Having someone else taste it seemed like the obvious choice, but Shinjiro was so much of a loner, that idea often slipped his mind.

He could even think of someone he'd like to share it with, though the idea left him a little awkward.]

Probably could. You know much about ramen?

[That person wasn't Ignis, but the man was a good cook.]

[He nodded.]

I'm familiar with the dish, although different places I've traveled to and tasted from seem to prepare it a little differently.

[Cup of Noodles wasn't going to count here, although Gladio's rant to Noct about ingredients that one time in Lestallum ran through his mind.]

You wanna ... [He cleared his throat, reaching a hand up to self-consciously rub the back of his neck.] ... give me a hand then?

[faithfulsupport]

[Ignis smiled.]

Why I'd be delighted. Where shall we start?

[castoredux]

Uh...I don't know.

[He hadn't been expecting that reaction.]

I'll bring some stuff with me next time I come in, get some brother simmering.

[faithfulsupport]

[Ignis nodded.]

Right, well let me know. I'm sure you'll have it up and running in no time.

[castoredux]

Maybe. It ain't a quick process.

[faithfulsupport]

[He smiled.]

Well then in that case, whenever you're ready will be just fine.

[castoredux]

[He nodded at that, looking thoughtful for a moment.]

I'll be back.

[And at that, he turns to leave. He's heading out to get ingredients, but he doesn't seem to be sharing intent, unless asked.]

[Well this was puzzling. Ignis then called out to the other's retreating form.]
