[The video turns on and Yuki is seen with his back to quite a few clutches of tomatoes in baskets and there are more than a few bushels of strawberries as well. Shigure is heard barking somewhere nearby after a moment or two of silence. And that makes Yuki speak up.]

I seem to have a lot of these tomatoes and strawberries this year. I guess I didn't realize that I had planted that many. So I have plenty to give away if anyone needs them.

Mm… That is certainly an impressive harvest, Yuki. It’s quite kind of you to offer to share them.

[Yuki definitely recognizes that voice since he hears it just about every day.]

I just have so many..and I'd feel bad if they went bad since I'm sure not everyone plants them.

[He hadn't paid attention when he was planting and just kept planting to keep his mind occupied.]

[Yuki wasn't looking for a trade but..]

Some people just wash them and add salt.

[Like Jacob did from time to time.]

But they can be cooked too. I've seen people turn them into a soup and make grilled cheese to dunk into the soup. I've heard other people put cooked rice in a tomato soup. And then there's making tomato sauce to cook pasta with.

[He shook his head.]

But mostly I've eaten them in a salad or put on the side for colour I think. Next time I might try cherry tomatoes because they're smaller.

I've never eaten them the way you're explaining, but I'm more than happy to bring some by tomorrow.

Well, I’m sure people will appreciate the chance to have some, so I doubt you’ll have to worry about them going to waste. Strawberries and the things you can make with them are fairly popular. I’m sure more than a few people will be happy to have the chance to enjoy some fresh ones or take them off your hands for baking.

And I believe they would make a nice surprise for Rhy later. If you would like anything in exchange for them, I’d be uh- happy to work something out.

I don't need any coins for them, you can have them for free because you're doing me a favour.

Right, I'm sure people could use them. I just wasn't sure if people use them all that often I guess.

Strawberries have a lot of uses in baking, to my recollection; cakes, pies, other pastries… Then there’s its use in jams, or even just with cream for dessert.

I'm glad it will not be. I still wish I knew what they were for. Perhaps I should flip through my books for it. But strawberries are so tasty.
