Missing kids bounty

Who; Steve, Natasha & Jagger
What; Missing kids bounty
Where; At the posting board?
When; After they all signed up for it
Warnings; None?

Steve had signed up for the bounty for missing children. Sure he needed the money but this was more on the principle that he didn't like bullies and someone who would kidnap innocent kids automatically qualified them as such on Rogers' list. But he was hungry so he stepped away for a few minutes to go get something to eat. When he came back, he found out that Nat and Jagger had signed up for the bounty too. He hadn't planned on having a team, but he was always happy to see Nat on his side and having Jagger with him too was a treat.

Taking out a pen and paper, Steve wrote down the information in his notebook that he had and found the other two who had signed on to help with this mission. When he did, he took out the notebook again and went over what was on the board, better safe than sorry. It only occurred to him after he tucked it away that he might've tried to take a picture with his tell phone but this was now after the fact. Old fashioned ways of doing things had won again.

Looking at both of them, he nodded. "We have to get these kids back and fast. The longer they're out there, the more they're at risk so we gotta bring them home." Looking over at Nat, Steve nodded once more and then turned his eyes to Jagger. "We can split up to try and save time and keep in touch with our phones. But if you're more familiar with the area or have any clues that we don't. I'm all ears."

Jagger was more accustomed to working things in a method, with research and observational facts. He wasn't a fighter, he'd never even actually held a weapon with the intent to attack someone else. He was good at finding things, but that usually meant using his abilities, which he hesitated to do alone. Sometimes of something was too traumatic, he could get lost and he needed someone to pull him back.

No, he was going to find these kids the old-fashioned way if he could. At Steve's question, he shook his head, adjusting the set of his leather gloves and then crossing his arms. "I think I know the area as well as you do, mate."

Natasha had seen Steve's name on the list to find the missing kids and of course, she was going to help. She would never let Steve face something by himself especially not something like children in a strange place. She walked up to their little group.

"So, what's the play, Cap," She said fixing the last strap of her glove. She glanced at Jagger. "And Jagger, right?" She offered him a slight upturn of her lips.

"That's me." He nodded toward Natasha, a woman he'd never met but who seemed like someone he wouldn't want to meet alone on the other side of a conflict. There was just a set to her shoulder and a hardness to her eyes that suggested she was a stalwart ally but a terrifying enemy. He was glad to know there were two people here to keep him from dying. He'd never had any combat training. Even thinking the term 'combat training' felt a little awkward.

Heading into the forest seemed a little like jumping the gun to Jagger, though, and he held up a hand. "Aside from moss, which can grow anywhere, what clues are leading us toward the forest exactly?"
