Terra is seen on top of a roof, hammering a few nails in. A light rain is falling at the same time, but he's not about to let it bother him. Moving carefully, he grabs another shingle and begins to get that into securely into place.

While Jacob had been here, he'd taken Terra with him to work on some projects, and the keyblade wielder had learned a lot working side by side. Sure a lot of it was after hours or on days off, but the more he learned, the better shot he had to do this on his own. They had spoken about working together on this particular house, but unfortunately the guy had gone home and now Terra was left to try and recall everything.

What he didn't remember, he asked Garry for at the carpentry shop since he maintained his job there. And he found himself doing more of the hands on work there that Jacob used to do instead of just being a cashier.

A few more hammerings, and Terra moved slowly down the side of the roof and jumped down onto the ground. Scooping up his camera that he hadn't realized was on, he started filming some of the house on the inside.

"I got a pretty good start, think I'm getting the hang of this. Not sure what to do about furniture though."

It seems you are doing well, my friend. Furniture can be bought. But the craft of one's own hands is a marvel!

Looks like you’ve been quite busy. I hadn’t realized you were so handy with repairs. You might be able to request furniture in your preferred style at some of the shops in town unless you intend to make it yourself?

I'm not at that level yet to make my own yet.

[He wasn't sure making furniture really was his thing, but he could try at a later date.]

It's definitely going to take time though.

Well so far it's basic hammer and nails and figuring out how the structure is supposed to go. It'll still take some time yet but it is getting started. I figure it has until Autumn maybe?

I learned it all here from where I work, but it has kept me pretty busy.

[Although the guy that introduced him to the shop and all of that had left Aterat unfortunately.]

I'll probably just buy the furniture, but it does look like I'll have to ask around and see what goes where later on. Do you have any recommendations?

I can probably give you the address for a couple of the places I purchased things from for the workshop, if that helps. There were one or two places that had things already made for sale, though I don’t know what styles would be your preference.

[ The layout of the place reminded him of some of the places he visited while in Fuyuki, so he didn’t know what his usual furnishing ideas would be that useful. ]

Yes. I am. Quite a bit. It's very nice to be learning the 'ropes' so to speak of cooking.

[He really can't say there's a particular style of furniture that he's looking for because this all so very new to him.]

So..this design is something from your world? My Master had books with designs like this in them, so when I saw it, it reminded me of him.

[To this day he still thought that he failed Master Eraqus, but was charged once again with protecting Aqua and Ven. But he looked around after she asked her question.]

Don't suppose you know anyone that can garden? Not right now of course but when it's done.

It’s no trouble. I’ll get the addresses and send them along later. They should be able to provide the basics, and maybe make some recommendations if you ask. I imagine you’ll want a table set, and some chairs or a sofa at least.

I think it might be. A lot of places in Japan look like that. Had your master ever been there?

Oh! I can garden a bit, I used to have a garden on the rooftop of my school. Maybe I could help you out then

[He knew what Japan was now though, thanks to being here. But her part about gardening had him hopeful.]

On the rooftop? Things can grow there?

[Made sense as he thought about it since it would be the highest point to the sun.]

A table and chairs, a sofa and I have to look for a bed too. They should have one or know where to get one you think?

[He planned to invite people over, so a table and chairs were definitely high on his priority list.]

Terra hesitated and stopped. Then he reached a hand up and scratched his head nervously.

"I can pay you for cooking lessons."

Oh no, I don't think that is wise. I am not talented in cooking at this point. It would be a waste.

[ Right. People generally sleep in beds every night, not just when they happen to be in a space with one instead of a sofa. Awkward pause is awkward, then a beat later he responds. ]

Ah, yes. I believe they should be able to help with a bed. I think at least one place had bed frames to choose from.

Oh yes, with the proper equipment and set up! It worked quite well for the things I wanted to grow there and it gave me a lovely little escape.

Oh..I guess I'll have to learn how to do all of that.

[And here he'd at first only thought of a house. But there sure were more things to learn about that went with it.]

I've seen the carpentry place make some pretty fancy things like that. I never thought to ask what they were for. But I'll definitely check these things out.
