"No, unfortunately they did not. It would seem that when one cannot control their Persona, for whatever reason, that same Persona turns on them." At first research had suggested that the reason for this was the artificial nature of the summoning's. However, certain other events had made it clear that was not entirely the case. Instead it became apparent that conflict within a person in regards to their sense of self was mostly at fault for a Persona turning upon an individual. Which made this situation all the more strange. Mitsuru had things she was awkward about, things she questioned about herself, but she was comfortable with who she was on the deepest level. Had she not been then her Persona would have never evolved as it had.
She shook her head slowly. "No. I was unaware of this, but the medication was slowly killing them. Though, unfortunately, ultimately all of them were killed anyway." She couldn't even say that their deaths had been better either. They had been faster but that was the only positive aspect of it she could find. In truth she still thought they'd been rather pointless deaths, ones that she should have been able to do something about. Tragic was the nature of it all around.
"It has to be something to do with the world." That much she said as firmly as she could given her somewhat weakened state. "Did you? What precisely happened?" She was curious both for her own curiosity and because it might be able to help her in some way. "I was planning on looking through the market for more appropriate spring clothes. There was nothing out of the ordinary there." Which made it all the more perplexing. "I found a few pink items but found myself thinking a friend of mine would be much more suited to them than I could ever be." A moment of self-doubt but nothing too extreme.
She took a seat at a nearby bench that had mostly avoided being frosted over. At least it was warm enough that everything had melted quickly enough. "Perhaps we could try the potions shop?"
