Ah, yes, that is a fair thing to not have experience with.

I have no problem training with someone larger than me. Most foes I faced back in my own world were considerably larger.

It is still important to practice with people of other sizes, so you are not unprepared for them. But I am willing to serve as a teacher. Once I figure out where.

That is a fair point. I'm afraid back home we simply had to settle for the limited practice we had available to us. Usually it was in the form of school clubs and private lessons. I am more than happy to wait until you find a proper location.

Indeed there is. But I find more time in the winter. The forge works best during times of good light. We work less in the winter, and I will need to fill my time more.

Between your greenhouse and the forge it sounds as though you keep rather busy. I appreciate you offering some of your time this winter to me.

I have help with the greenhouse, and I am not the Forge Mistress. I make time as needed, and helping ladies in need is always something I can make time for.

I think perhaps you're about as poor as I am at taking compliments. [ She chuckles. ]

[Wait, was there a compliment there? Had she missed it?]

Even if you're not the forge mistress or the sole worker at the greenhouse, it still seems impressive that you manage your time among so many different things.

[Well, Mitsuru is being very flattering and Lauri-Ell is trying not to blush. But it's useful that this is audio only to hide that.]

That's a very impressive attitude to have. I have great respect for people with such an outlook. [ she's used to a bunch of kids that she often struggles to even get to do their homework. ]

I was raised to be a military woman. I learned that fighting does not have to keep me from smaller joys.

[bufus]

I see. Finding value in smaller joys is a lesson I might be served to learn myself.

I hope you learn it then! It would be good, to not have to worry about that.

[She smiled to think about it. People learning to take care of themselves would always be a good thing.]

I'm certain I'll have to work on it, but I would like to worry less about such things.

It is not an easy thing to do. But it makes me feel lighter.
