[ Lorna is so new here; new enough she's not reached out yet to see if anyone she knows is here too, an if they know more about this place than she does. Which is nothing, so anything is better than what she's working with.

She picks up one of those funky looking leaves, wondering how or why it's doing what it looks to be doing, because since when do leaf veins move?

And before she knows it, a memory broadcasts; a young girl whose mutant powers manifested far too young with too much power. (ooc: content warnings include — Parental deaths, degrees of memory manipulation/mind control.)

I think it's a universal constant that mutants always make the most dramatic entrances. [ Despite her words she does have a tiny frown on her face. ] And the worst childhoods.

Oh it does. I mean have you ever met anyone who said they had a normal childhood and their powers developed without any problems? [ Nope. Probably not. Because that just didn't happen. ]

Honestly, if I did, I would call absolute and utter bullshit without a second thought. That or it sounds like something a drunk mutant would say trying to impress someone at a bar.
