Terra went outside since he was going to go by the house he'd mentioned fixing up. But when he went outside, a pile of leaves decided to dump unceremoniously on his head.

"Hey.."

Immediately he started trying his best to get them all out of his hair but that made him look up and that was when he noticed the bare trees. Terra looked around for a few moments and finally his gaze returned to the ground with what seemed to be a pretty deep leaf covering everywhere. He sighed, figuring if his apartment had this issue, the house would too. So he was going to clean it up.

"It's not gonna clean itself, might as well go get some bags." But he then picked up a leaf on his way into the apartment building because he thought there was something moving around inside of it. His blue eyes started intently and then things from the past appeared.

[Zack was so ridiculous and Terra still laughed.]

I'm sure it was. I mean, you're awesome all the time, right?

[Yes, exactly! Zack grinned and nodded.]

I'm always awesome, you know it.

[Terra laughed. This was a little different than the Zack he knew, but there was the same sort of spirit.]

Then when you can, I'll look forward to seeing you wow the crowds with that awesome.

[Terra shook his head, feeling defensive. Zack was right but it was the familiarity that he mistakenly thought was there. He'd found out the hard way it wasn't reciprocated.]

I said I'm sure you do. I didn't say you did. I mean, your friends have to be happy you're here with them, right?

[Not that he counted himself among Zack's friends to be fair. He would say that Zack was his friend, but it wasn't the other way around.]

[Well, he had to go and mention Zack's friends. He nodded, smiling.]

Yeah. I swear, I made Cloud almost laugh. I miss that.

[Inwardly he sighed because that kept him out of it.]

Almost laugh? What did you say?

I don't even remember. I just remember being so happy to see him smile again. It wasn't common enough.

Then you can just try to do it every time you see him, right?

Maybe. Gotta remind the guy not to take himself too seriously.

[Terra had seen the other Zack's serious side. So he was sure this version had one too.]

That almost sounds like you'll have your hands full.

So full, you can't even imagine. Between him and Angeal there's way too much serious swordsmen in my life. I'm going to have to teach them how to chill.

[Terra knew the 'other' Zack had a cheery disposition in an odd place like the Coliseum and after being controlled by Hades.]
