[Never mind the baking ingredients in the background along with the mixing bowls. In the foreground are a bunch of books, piles of notepaper and pens since someone's been studying. But paws are seen and hands pick the puppy up and put him on the ground.]

You know you're not supposed to be on the table.

[He then straightens back up and notices that the camera on.]

I'm sorry, I didn't realize the puppy had turned the phone's video function on.

[Yuki pauses a moment.]

But since it's on I wanted to ask if anyone else studying at the Academy?

[Oh he was tempted with that offer considering those little teeth had been trying to chew at everything in the house. Jacob kept excusing it and Yuki knew half of his frustration was because of the dog's name. But he just shook his head with a smile.]

I'll have to let you know, but having him get to know others would be a good idea.

I've been fine. Well, mostly fine. Kinda lonely when the kids aren't around doing the work so I picked up more Lodge hours.

[Tommy was a social creature, who had lost everyone important to him in coming to this place. He was not doing well. But he kept smiling anyway.]

Does working more hours help? I mean, you need down time right?

I only need four hours of sleep.

[Yuki repeated this softly and wasn't going to doubt Tommy, even if that wasn't a lot of time. He himself would be a zombie on four hours and practically was every morning.]

It's the whole speed differential thing. My biology is different too, so it means I'm in a weird state most of the time.

Yeah, man. WHy would I deny it? Back home I'm a superhero. Had a team and everything. Helped save the world a time or two. Mostly just help people in need. I'm great for disaster situations with my speed and everything.

Oh right, I remember a story you told me about a lady and a bow.

[He couldn't help but laugh slightly at Tommy's reply of looking good. For something so serious, the man just had a talent with words to put an interesting spin on what he did.]

[Tommy's words had him laughing a little more.]

You could probably do their job for them and then some.

Yeah, I could. But then I could do other stuff too.

[But a major company might poorly treat children, and they needed work, so Tommy was just this he supposed.]

That's very true. There's so much you could do, I don't know how you manage to schedule your time.
