Kree, as many other species, believed in the occasional need for rest and relaxation. This was not something Lauri-Ell had a lot of experience in of course. Her duties had not allowed her to take advantage of such methods of relaxation, which did not mean she did not know how to handle this moment of wondrous relaxation. And Gili, declaring it too hot to have both of them working the forge all day long, had sent Lauri-Ell off. And so she had been happy to take this vacation day, so rarely offered, to relax herself.

Which was of course what she was doing right now. Lauri-Ell had set herself a wonderful shelter in for the day too. A big umbrella over a chair, a case with cool drinks and snacks, and, of course, a towel. All of these had been abandoned at her seat, of course, because Lauri-Ell had better things to do. Which was make proper use of her swim suit, Universal Weapon granted of course. For the moment she settled herself in the surf, letting the waves lap over her as she holds a fruity beverage that is decidedly pink, and sips at it.

"Is there any way to enjoy the heat than with cool water? I think not. If I go home, I shall suggest to the Emperor that soldiers are given breaks like this."

He listened, trying to understand where Lauri-Ell was coming from. This was an important conversation and Terra was more than aware of that fact. So he kept listening and tried to get it.

"So there's more than one or two religions then?"

"Oh i do not doubt there are as least as many as there are peoples," she said with a smile. "Even the kree once had gods, but we do not hold to them now."

And the Skrull had goes. The Cotati. Humans seemed to have many.

"You had gods?" Well now they were something he'd heard of in Greece. "So have you heard of a god named Hades?"

Not that Terra had any pleasant memories of him.

"Yes. I know the Kree did. That doesn't mean I know what they were."

Still, she has to pause and consider, and then shakes her head. No, that wasn't right.

"I don't know," she said with a shrug.

He half nodded, waiting to see what her reply would be to his question. But then as he half figured, she had no idea who Hades was. In his mind, she was better off not knowing.

"Hades just might've been a god of that world then. People there didn't talk about him much either, now that I think of it."

"Ah," she said, nodding. A god of that world. Makes sense. "Sometimes gods are fearful things."

Terra sighed, thinking of the things that Hades did, along with possessing Zack. "Ya, he was pretty fearsome to a lot of people."

That didnt' seem like a very good reaction. To the degree that Lauri-Ell frowns.

"We the people you cared... did they get better?"

He took a deep breath and let it out slowly before looking at her to reply.

"They did so they're alright now."

It took Terra beating Zack to do so, but it released Hades' hold on him. Zack and darkness had nothing in common, because Zack was light in his own eyes even if the other had mistakenly thought of him as a hero.

"Fortunately I don't think other gods are permitted here."

"IF they are, perhaps they would hold no power," Lauri-Ell said with a thoughtful question. Better not to think about it too much.

"Hopefully you find peace here."

Terra could only hope Lauri-Ell was right in her assumption.

But then her kind words startled him. Peace? Here?

Did he look like he needed peace? That was a puzzle.

"As long as he doesn't show up, everything should be okay."

Was that her worrying for him?

Yes, she would have to hope that too. Save for in the case of the Prince. She would love to have him here in his full glory, so he could take them home.

"I do not know that all will be okay. Things do seem to go wrong at times."

He nodded. "I remember a few things about when I was here before. But we'll be ready for them." Fortunately they weren't heartless, or at least so the monsters before hadn't been such.

Lauri-Ell nods. Yes. They will be ready.

"I will help you be ready, and you will help me?"

He nodded in return. "Yes, I can definitely help in getting ready."

If they were heartless it would be a different story, but Terra didn't figure they would come here.

Well, that's a good thing to hear. Lauri-Ell nods in acknowledgement and pleasure.

"Thank you, Terra. As for now..."

She lets her words trail off. There are other things which she should be done, and it would be good to be to the doing of them.

He could take a hint so he nodded.

"I'll see you around."
