Reliable. However there are things we are undermanned to maintain, and there are many in the city that delight in such bounties, in the way it makes them money. The city used to be smaller, even just a few months ago, and it doesn't full seem like the guard expands at quite the same rate.

Nida. Nida Scientia. Though some of the other guards just refer to me as 'that idiot who doesn't carry a sword'. The name stuck, even if I did finally give in and get one.

Swords are overrated. [He prefers big battleaxes and hammers, personally, things he can swing wide with better odds of hitting things, and really put his enhanced strength into.] Shinjiro Aragaki.

Swords are suitable to some tasks, unsuitable to others, and have a distinct disadvantage against still other things. If you're going to use a weapon, one should be mindful of what the ultimate use will be.
