[ she shakes her head enthusiastically ] he hasn't come in a few days. Usually if he gets caught up in something I can at least find him. I've tried looking but no dice. I'm hoping someone can let me know where he is.

I haven't seen him either, he hasn't come into the office lately. I thought maybe he was just home sick or something and I didn't want to bother him.

[He'd been hoping to get some tips for house set up since he and Jacob had found a place to start working on. And with his boyfriend's carpentry skills being put to use, he was pretty much just helping and doing a lot of cleaning. But there was a pause as he digested some of the words he was hearing.]

And I'm sorry, did you say flower shop?

[ She frowns intensely ] That's not good. Unless maybe he just went home...but with everything going on that doesn't seem safe to assume. [ Though, she wants to just assume that he's gone home. ]

Oh, yes! I opened it a while ago in the market.

[Her words cut right through him. Of all the things he didn't want to think about, the detective going back home an leaving his husband and dog behind just mentally gutted him. Yuki tried to even give a voice to the words 'I hope not' but nothing came out until he thought of his conversation with Mono.]

[And he knew he was hoping against hope here. But he was silent again until she spoke about the shop.]

Would it be alright if I fill in for him while he's..gone?

Be careful if you do, please. I know he'd hate to have someone hurt on his account.

[ But she wanted people out there looking for him because she was selfishly worried. ]

I'd appreciate that actually. The warmer weather means I've had a lot more flowers coming out.

[Of course he didn't know where to start to look for the man, and he was sure that Rhy had probably covered all of the regular bases. But still, a part of him really hurt deep at the news. This was terrible.

[Rhy has been searching the city every free moment he has. Even using Pretzel hasn't gotten him far. He doesn't know the dog's commands for scenting, but Pretzel was good at finding things. And yet... And yet the dog had found nothing. Couldn't find his master.

And Rhy? Rhy looked like shit, like he hadn't slept in days. He hasn't. Not without Llewellyn around.]

[ Her expression takes on an even more concerned look. ] Oh no. That's not good to hear.

He's gone and I don't know where to search. This is horrible. Pretzel can't find him!

I was going to ask about Pretzel being able to find him. A few other people have offered to use abilities to look for him. If he's here, we'll find him!

No, it's definitely not. He's usually a lot more considerate than that. I mean I know he gets caught up in things but...[ she was starting to get the disturbing impression that it definitely wasn't him getting caught up in anything. ] Even his husband hasn't seen him. So...I'd appreciate you looking. Just be careful! We've had a few too many messes lately.

That's a relief to hear, a lot of people here wouldn't. [ Like Cloud. And maybe even herself a bit. It was nice to talk to someone with common sense though. ]
