In the background behind her a forge glows with brilliant heat, and some bars of metal are clearly waiting in the heat. The shot pans to show off more of the forge before turning back to look at Lauri-Ell, in her own sturdy shirt and leather smithing apron.]
Good day all. After the recent announcement from the guard that there seems to be a danger in the streets at night, Master Gili has decided that for a time Bay Blades shall be working to turn out more weapons for the use of those who might seek additional protection if they are out after dark.
None of these blades are going to be commission quality, but they will be functional. It is Gili's hope that we shall be able to defend ourselves if it comes needful.
Both of us believe that it is wiser to remain in after dark, and avoid secluded areas, as the guard has advised. We also believe there are many who will not choose this route. Those may wish to be armed.
Please, be careful. The loss of any diminishes us all.
