That gets a pleased smile. It was good to hear that he had an idea that would be appreciated. Llewellyn liked the thought of returning the kind gesture with one of their own. “Then I’ll get a nice assortment and stop by tomorrow afternoon. That way it will be fresh, and something for everyone to enjoy.”

Handing over the ribbon, he leaned against the bedpost as he let his husband inspect the possibility. He hummed lightly, though, at the explanation. Llewellyn found himself reaching out to feel the edge of the ribbon.

Rhy knew best in this situation, of course. He worked with material all day, and he undoubtedly knew what would wear poorly against the fine fabric of the curtains. “Ah, I suppose we’ll have to leave them untied until we can get something tomorrow, then?” Not too bad, even if it would be nice to see it all finished.
