“I’m looking forward to the return of a greener season myself.” Llewellyn responded with a small smile, it would be wonderful to see everything spring back to life after the winter… “The park is very nice? Rhy and I were feeding the ducks there last season.” He added thoughtfully, perhaps she would enjoy seeing the creatures as well. It was really something of a relief to see them in their natural habitats after going so long without seeing anything like them.
The mention of an indoor garden gets a curious tilt of his head. “That would be beautiful- you should meet one of the other women who lives in my building. Lauri-Ell, she built a greenhouse at the top of the blue building. It’s quite lovely!” He was pretty sure she and Yuki were growing food for locals as well. It was a nice project, in his opinion. Though he fussed with a flower for a moment as he considered outdoor gardens, “I’m hoping to get an outdoor garden started once Rhy and I find a home to move into. Perhaps you’d like to help me with it when the time comes? I was uh- thinking of adding camellias recently, where you were looking to make teas.” Roses would be the focal point, of course, for Rhy… But there were a lot of other flowers he wanted to see in it as well.
Llewellyn nodded quickly, leaning sideways to gather up a selection of yellow flowers she could choose from. The coreopsis, buttercups, yellow evening primrose, yellow crocuses and tulips as well. “I believe we have a nice selection- oh…” He paused at the suggestion with a bright expression, eyes drifting to the sketchbook with some recognition. “Crowns with meanings is a lovely idea, some for friends or even matching crowns for couples you might see. I’m sure people would enjoy that, something pretty with a deeper meaning.”
