I. Gifts Given To Students - Closed to Yuki and Jacob (Separately Though)

There was nothing to make the world more alive than the rush of fighting. Training was the closest he could come, and for Nida there was at least his two students to help him. They came in on a schedule now that the workout room had been finished at the house, and he was happy to make time for them when he wasn't working for himself. Such a today, when he had a plan. He had Yuki and Jacob both coming in today, and just inside the room was two little bags, both made of soft gray fabric. They were his plan.

And there a knock at the door to the house. Nida smiled and moved to answer it. It was time for a sesson, and further supporting his wonderful students. Just call him a match maker. Or reinforcer? Whatever.

"Hey, you ready for your workout?"

II. Time for a Husband | Closed to Ignis

Did it matter that they'd already had a playful set of nights for Ignis's birthday recently. But Cherishment seemed like another one of those traditions he didn't mind. And honestly, he liked all of this. There was something similar back home, Heart Day, where people exchanged gifts and the like with friends and lovers. So this one was something he knew how to deal with. He'd gone to the flower shop to get a bouquet, he'd gathered what he needed to cook a meal on his own, and of course he had the gift.

Gifts and spoiling each other seemed to be what Ignis and Nida did.

"Babe?" Nida called out as he came home that evening. He thought Ignis shouldn't be home yet. And... Well, if he wasn't...

Nida smiled and moved into the kitchen. Time to cook.

"That is so very sweet." Ignis marveled, dipping his nose down to smell the flowers again for a moment before lifting his head again. "Know that I will hold you to that promise." There was a smile in his eyes and on his face as he said that and then he slightly laughed.

"And in the meantime, this lovely gift needs to be put into water."

"By all means," Nida said with a smile. Then the returned his attention to monitoring the pending dinner. Meanwhile your gifts get to go into my tummy. So wonderful. I'll have to work out extra hard."

It was mostly teasing. ANd perhaps flirting?

"I have a few ideas as to how that workout can go." Ignis replied, with a suggestive smile to go along with his words. But dinner was more important than that other thing that he would see was taken care of later.

Not all appetites were for food after all.

"You really do think that sex is that much of a workout for me?" Nida asked, tilting his head to consider the man. "I mean, it's energy, but I don't know that it's going to burn calories off as much as it could. Not that I'm not willign to try."

"With the way you're quite worn out afterwards, I daresay it is." Ignis replied with a smile. And then he had to laugh at his husband. "If you're up for it, we can try as soon as we're ready."

"I love you, you eager little moogle," Nida teased, smiling at him. "And yes, I'm up for that. After food. I cooked for you, I want it to be enjoyed."

He had to laugh. "I can't ever recall being compared to a moogle." And of course they were distraction decoy toys in his world. Still, even as that was the truth, they were rather adorable.

Ignis had wanted to purchase one just to sit on his bookshelf one day.

"But indeed, food first and everything else after."

"Why not? You're just as adorable as them. Can you say Kupo for me?"

In his world they were only decorations as well. Moogles were just a mythical animal.

"Food first of course. That's just how we are. I think it's ready. Hold on."

Nida got a put out look, and even if Ignis didn't say the word now, he had a plan as to when he would.

However, the mention of dinner had him get their drinks ready and made sure all was in order once his husband was ready.

Well he could have the plan he wanted to have. Nida was just happy to carry the stew over and serve it into their bowls.

"I know I'm not the best, but I'm glad to share this much."

"You're improving all the time." Ignis replied with a shake of his head. "And it looks and smells delicious." A smile lit his eyes. "I can't recall anyone else that's ever cooked for me unless we're speaking about dining out, so this is quite a treat."

"I'm trying to impress a master chef. All I can do is get better to try and look even remotely passable."

And caring for his husband mattered to him.

He had to shake his head and smiled at everything that was there. "My master chef class started out as a hobby darling. But I am pleased to hear you're interesting in improving upon your craft."

"It's not a hobby for me," Nida points out with a shrug. "It's me pulling my weight in our home, the way I want to, the way I should."

And he had no shame in doing it either.

There were so many things Ignis thought to say in response to Nida. Of course the advisor didn't mind cooking and cleaning, hell he'd been trained for it with his tenure at the Citadel. But he was very touched by his husband's words and didn't realize those were words he needed to hear.

"That's quite thoughtful of you."

It was all he could get out at the moment with a steady voice.

"Coming from the most thoughtful man I have ever known, that's quite the compliment," Nida answered with a wide smile. "You're so self-sacrificing, so giving."

"And it's a deserved one." Ignis replied. He had no idea how to handle the rest of the things that Nida was saying so he tried a smile of his own in answer to Nida's. "I just try my best to take care of you."

"We take care of each other, my beloved spouse," Nida answers with a smile. He reaches out to stroke Ignis's cheek.

"We're a team. The best time I've ever known."
