Llewellyn had to tilt his head a little at that comment. It was clear that ‘cleaning up’ after he wasn’t something Ivy minded. “Yes, I suppose someone does… She’s lucky to have you around for it, clearly.” A good team watched out for each other, of course. Llewellyn knew that well enough, and it was honestly nice to hear Ivy speak so fondly of someone.

Her question gets more serious consideration though, because it was important. Starting points were difficult to find, in his experience. Rubbing at the side of his face out of habit, he hummed a little, and she was left waiting for a minute or two. “Maybe another shared meal? Somewhere comfortable, but public enough that it can be just that, a small get together to ease in.” Llewellyn finally suggested something controlled enough that Ivy might not feel the need to worry about being alone with someone necessarily. But something to start with, to get used to the idea and see how things went, maybe to build up her confidence in the idea that she could trust herself…

Either way, Llewellyn hoped to see that she did take the chance. She couldn’t hide away in her apartment or avoid people forever.
