Llewellyn smiled a little. “I’m not in the habit of recommending bad food, but I suppose there is a first time for everything.” He responded as he led her towards the cart. Food was very important, and he was well known for finding good places to eat and ending up on a first name basis with those who ran the place.
“Well, yes I do…” He responded over his shoulder with an awkward expression, “So it’s more like two friends assisting one another with errands.” He responded with a small hum. Though as she continued, Llewellyn felt a small frown creep into his expression. Harry hadn’t asked her out again since then? Had the first dinner gone that poorly? “He hasn’t? Have you uh- spoken to him again since then?”
Llewellyn shrugged his shoulders lightly though, “Oh, I’m sure there are plenty of other things that make you mysterious, Ivy. I assure you, there are probably entire books worth of knowledge I wouldn’t even think to presume about vampires.”Especially when there were so many differences between the kind of vampire Ivy was and those in stories. Most things were educated guesses, and being able to see better at night just made sense given they seemed to be more active at night.
He raised his hands in a mock placating manner, “I can’t deny that you are.” Sorry, Harry. “Why do you think I’m concerned that even my mm… neutral stance would be called into question depending on my answers if I tried to mediate.”
