He wore a wool jacket with his usual work pants and loose white shirt as he slowly made his way through the streets. In Jacob's left hand was a broom, his right hand a bag. He tried not to touch the crystals but when he saw one drop to the ground he quickly swept it into the bag. There were enough memories from his life that he didn't want to share and he imagined that others felt the same. It was impossible for him to cover the entire city but any reprieve to those he has come to care about was worth it.
Of course, he had to figure out what to do with the crystals but he'd have time to sort that out. Perhaps he could drop them into the water and let them be hidden by the sea. If they were really likely they'd disappear but Jake had never considered himself lucky. If anything he was unlucky.
He could be found anywhere around the city with his broom and bag. The bag varied in size throughout the day, growing with each hour but it wasn't enough. There were crystals out there and he couldn't do anything about it.
At least he had the broom, should he meet anyone who had bad intentions towards him.
Jake really had the worst luck.
Closed to Yuki | Blue Building B-06 | Finding Memories
He wasn't sure what to think. It was a strange memory but the strangest part was how it made him feel. It wasn't bad… not exactly but it made him realize how much he didn't know Yuki and at the same time, it made him realize how little he shared with Yuki. He understood from a logical perspective but it made him feel uneasy. Things couldn't always be happy and it was these memories that were the most important; it was these memories that should be shared.
Jacob didn't know if Yuki had found any of his memories. He was sure that there were some out there but it was something that the pair should talk about. If this relationship was going to be more than skin deep…
He was scared but knew that it was important that they talk.
Jake stopped outside of Yuki's door, knowing that the young man would be home. It was dinner time but he didn't feel like he could eat. He hoped he wasn't interrupting.

Love and romance and all that came with it was never on his radar here but since he'd met Jacob and the other had passed away from that horrible creature, his heart changed. And then of course was the distance and absence and now that man was clearly back in his path.
Hearing that gentle tone now he felt the fingers on his cheek. He was afraid to close his eyes and enjoy that touch because he didn't want any more traitorous tears to fall, so he tried to keep them open and just listen. But when Jacob leaned in to kiss his forehead, his eyes automatically closed and the tears fell anyway.
He felt like he was being blessed here too just as he had been back home. And he was nothing but grateful as he felt that hug. He didn't know what to say, but his hands clenched into fists into the back of Jacob's shirt as more tears came down.
After what seemed like forever even if it was just a few seconds, Yuki opened his eyes and spoke in an even softer tone than his usual. "I love you too."

"Come on." He looked down at Yuki and gently brushed away a tear. "This is a good thing. There is no reason to cry." Jacob leaned down and pressed a kiss against Yuki's cheek. "But I can help with your tears too."
Yuki's reciprocation only intensified the feeling bubbling inside of Jacob and he suddenly felt like he had enough energy to go for a sprint. It didn't make sense and he knew that he'd have to calm down if they were going to talk properly about the crystal or their past memories. "Let's sit down."

Jacob had come in and showed him how life here could be fun and lived instead of simply existing as he had been. And there were so many unspoken thank yous every day he saw the man, words that just wouldn't come out no matter how hard he tried. And even if they came easier on some days, he couldn't seem to find the proper moment to express them.
The man already had his heart, Yuki had known that. But he dared to look up with his watery eyes when Jacob took the extra moment to say he could help with his tears. The kiss to the cheek had just had him being more undone but there he was, still trying to fight it even as the kind words had him in an emotional tailspin.
In a good way of course.
He'd been about to hold onto the other, but then it was suggested that they just sit down, so he nodded wordlessly and wiped at his eyes again so they could do that.

It felt like a million thoughts should be fumbling through his mind but that wasn't the case. He was at peace. It felt as if he was exactly where he was supposed to be.
After a moment he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. "Here." Jacob placed the small square of fabric into Yuki's hand so that he could wipe away the tears and pull himself together. "Take your time. There is no rush. I'm not going anywhere." He would stay the night if it took that much time for Yuki to calm down.
It suddenly felt like there was more for them to talk about now that he had confessed how he felt.

He tried to laugh at the square of fabric, but was just touched yet again and let the thing try and dry more tears that had appeared at the kind gesture. "Thank you." So he tried to give himself some small measure of comfort that the other hadn't abandoned him, hadn't been sickened as Akito had told him all of those years ago, just as Miss Honda hadn't been. What that meant he had no idea, but he was grateful.
But as he stayed where he was, his breath finally evened out and was half surprised he hadn't transformed. Of course the curse was broken here as it had been back home but that sort of stress would've definitely transformed him when the curse had a form hold on him.
"Thank you..for everything." It was really all he could think to say at the moment.

It sucked that his life was the furthest thing from normal.
"My adopted family are all werewolves. When I was having a hard time Gus would shift and let me use him as a pillow. I have no idea why but it always made me feel better." It also helped that Jacob really didn't like talking about his problems but wanted someone to be there to support him.
He looked down at Yuki and smiled. "You were a very cute rat." He ran his fingers through Yuki's hair as he continued. "And whatever is in your past, I love you. Your past doesn't change who you are now. And I hope you don't judge me on my past self either." It was selfish of him to say but there was a lot in Jacob's past that he wasn't proud of.

Werewolves..that had Yuki just stop and not move at all. The closest thing to one of those was Shigure's transformation and understanding of dogs, since he was cursed by the zodiac spirit of the Dog. But he did understand wolves like the one that had howled about the landslide that collapsed Miss Honda's tent. And it took his mind off of his own transformation until he heard Jacob call him a cute rat.
But when the man said he loved Yuki no matter what, he had to lift his grey head and smiled. "The curse has been broken since before I got here, but no, I won't judge you." And boy had he loved when Jacob put his fingers though his hair.
Somehow he'd have to learn how to have that happen more often.

He felt better knowing that Yuki wouldn't judge him but he'd still worry about the truly dark acts that he'd eagerly participated in. It didn't matter if he'd been brainwashed or convinced by his captor, they had still been his choices and he hadn't regretted it. He'd felt nothing and felt very little when recalling the memory.
The past was over, like the end of a movie. Jacob didn't feel like it affected him anymore. Unless he had to watch the movie over again.
"There's a lot I want to tell you about... but it's too much for today." He didn't want to cause Yuki to panic on his behalf. "But I can tell you more about the Allaways. That's the name of the family that adopted me. They are actually born as wolves and learn to turn into humans when they're toddlers. I only have one blood relation that is alive that I know about and that's my older sister Ariana. Everyone else is a part of the Always. Gus and Kelsey had a lot of kids. Six total but I only ever hung out with four of them for any long period of time and Lalya is one of the closest to me. She came out before I did. Which is even more rare for wolves, so she helped me with my own issues over the last year. It's why I'm a bit less dense compared to the last time I was here." He didn't like how he had acted back then but he's eager to make things right. Jacob never tried to change the past. Only the present and future mattered.

His eyes opened at hearing Jacob say there was much he wanted to tell him. But he listened as the other went on, trying to picture things as they were being described to him. And somewhere he supposed he should panic if the man he was involved with was a werewolf. Maybe he should be alarmed.
But he wasn't for whatever reason.
Of course his mind had a lot of questions running through it, but Jacob was just keeping him calm and relaxed with the hair thing. So he just sighed and closed his eyes again, keeping himself from asking all of the questions his mind was so rudely attempting to pester him with.
"I'm glad you had a family that took care of you."
Unlike his.

He loved his sister but he didn't feel particularly close to her. It didn't help that they were about ten years apart in age. It was difficult for them to relate to each other and she was a god.
"What about your family?" He wasn't sure if Yuki wanted to give any further details but Jacob wanted to know that he was here and happy to listen.

He'd been on his own with his family distancing him, selling him to Akito so his mother could enjoy a wealthy life for having given birth to the Rat of the zodiac, the one that was supposed to be closest to the god.
But he pushed that aside too as he thought about how she'd told him not to go crazy with his phone and that was just about the first motherly thing she'd told him. And of course his student teacher meeting with how his mother had wanted him to go to the college she chose..and Yuki had chased after her telling her he was going to decide for himself on that.
He sighed and shook his head. "My brother is ten years older than me. My parents didn't have much to do with him either, he and my mother have a strained relationship. But we started to get closer."
Before he left.

Sometimes he wondered if his boy friend thought too much.
"It's good to try and get closer. Even if its never perfect. It's a way to show that you care." Jacob really didn't want to get too close to his sister but he was trying his best to be a better brother.
"Do you dislike your brother? Airy is really annoying and has too much energy for me. She also worries too much." It was really really annoying when she went off on a guilt trip. She always found a way to blame herself.

Well damn.
"He.." he began and then shook his head. How in the world did he explain? "Ayame is just worlds apart in his mannerisms and thinking than I am." The fact that his brother had a thing about playing dress up men's romance thing hidden behind a handicrafts shop was going to give him a right headache.
So he didn't mention that.

"I think siblings are just supposed to be annoying." He buried his face against the crest of Yuki's head and inhaled deeply. They had been talking for a short period of time but he felt utterly exhausted.
"Yuki?" Jacob whispered, uncertainty threading through his voice. "Is it alright if I stay here tonight? Not-" He swallowed. "Not to do anything weird but to stay like this. I want to fall asleep holding you." He didn't want Yuki to get embarrassed but he wanted the comfort of the others presence. For once he didn't want to have bad dreams.

And then he was asked if he could stay. "Of course." he replied, almost too quickly. With the words spoken he closed his eyes against the tears that threatened to come out unexpectedly. He wasn't sure how to feel about the 'anything weird' comment but a part of him knew what it was pertaining to and he felt his face turn red.
So all he could do was get as close as humanly possible to Jacob and reiterated what he said. "Yes please..stay with me."
/wanna wrap this up here as I try and catch up <3
It'd take a great deal of effort for him to let Yuki go.
