Network - Video [Backdated to Early Morning, November 10th]
[The video comes on with Lauri-Ell surrounded by racks of plants and pots and little green growing things. Anyone familiar with her or who helped with the greenhouse would recognize it to be such, the glass and metal structure on the roof of the Blue Dorm. The door of the greenhouse clearly closed behind her, but blurs of color fall occasionally through the shot beyond the clear glass. There are light sounds with them, of crystal hitting stone outside or lightly hitting glass above.
But here Lauri was in the video, her Tellphone clearly propped up against a plant pot or something because her hand is free and holding a small, softly pink crystal in her hand.]
I am not certain who may or may not have had a chance to wander out into the city at this point, but I would advise caution to those who choose to do so. There is currently a strange form of precipitation occurring.
[She raised the pink crystal to emphasize her point.]
Be not fooled. These are not pretty little baubles. No, these are something else entirely. When I took this into my hand I was greeted with knowledge and memory that is not my own. I am more familiar with processing such events given how I was trained. However none were so disturbing as this.
[She grimaces at that statement.]
This one involved a little horrible man with a mouth that was far too big, taunting someone. I admit, if I were ever to encounter someone who would so willingly speak of such atrocities committed against someone's mother right to her face while trying to ask for the person's assistance... If I ever find that man, I believe I shall show him what justice is.
[Yes, she had not liked her glimpse of Hojo at all.]
I advise great caution. If you can avoid these, please do so. These are not to be used for decoration. I shall attempt to see if there is a means by which to safely destroy these crystals. Such violations of one's experience are horrid and should not be done so lightly. I will be going to the forge today to acquire some containers that we might put the crystals we encounter into to keep them safely sealed away. Hopefully this shall be met with the approval of others.

So he turned the video function on.]
I wonder if there's somewhere safe to collect them and just throw them away so that no one sees them.

I was going to tend to the plants today, I know it was my day, but perhaps you could render me assistance when you are free? I want to go to Gili's and take one of the cooling barrels with her permission and make a secure metal lid with a small hole that people can pass crystals through without being able to reach in and take them out?
no subject
I can do that.
[And while he had no idea what exactly she was talking about, if whatever she was planning on doing would assist people, he was all in so Yuki nodded a little more.]
I'm free now if you need my help.
no subject
[She took a deep breath, because all of this was so stressful.]
I am very used to this transfer of knowledge and memory. I do not think it is a good thing to allow to happen.
no subject
[And idly he wondered if the Aspects knew and what they would say. Or if they'd remain silent.]
I should be there in a few minutes, I'm going to leave here now.
no subject
[She smiled in gratitude at the pending arrival.]
Thank you my friend.
no subject
And he'd packed his satchel with a book or two to use as a makeshift umbrella.]
I'm here.
no subject
Thank you for your arrival.
no subject
If we can get these things taken care of, that's more than thanks enough.
no subject
I will offer thanks anyway. There is so much crystal here. It scares me.
no subject
I feel really bad for anyone who's had memories of theirs looked at.
[And hopefully there were none of him.]
no subject
[Her own crystals... she wondered what people would see. Little of use she suspected. Much time spent guarding things and at war. Perhaps that would make them sad.]
no subject
We could sweep them into a huge pile and dump them..
[Though honestly here he wished he could just set them on fire.]

Wrap!
Mm… If you have any luck in destroying them, let me know, but containing them is a good idea too.
[He sounded a little off when he called, but he did want to reach out.]
And I agree, this is a horrid violation of one’s privacy. But… It seems to be a trend with these kinds of worlds? Er- and on that note, I do apologize, but I believe I happened upon one involving you and a cat…?
[And while he felt rather bad for having seen something of hers… It was probably the more pleasant memories he’d happened upon between here and the Sphere. It rather made him wonder how she’d handle Pretzel for an afternoon.]
no subject
What is a cat?
no subject
Uh- small, furry creatures. Not like Pretzel, though. Generally small pointed ears, they don’t bark… [How do you explain a cat?] Well, I thought it was cat… Sounded like one, at least to me. It was, um… an orange striped creature. You seemed to be trying to figure out what to feed it.
no subject
Ah! You mean the fur Beast is called a cat to humans! That is good to know. He is a very good beast. He is my sister's home companion, and a very wise beast. Is aware of right where the fish monger is.
no subject
… Had she taken the cat with her to find it food?]
Yes, we call them cats, but furbeast suits them well. [He grinned a little, they were very fluffy creatures in his experience.] The fishmonger though… Does that mean it assisted you with finding its meal? I only caught a glimpse of you discovering the canned food’s unpleasantness and your decision to go out to find something better.
[Ever curious, he couldn’t help ask how it all turned out.]
no subject
Of course it assisted. Why should i not seek the guidance of the furbeast in finding what was suitable to it? He guided me to the monger and selected the fish. And carried it out.
no subject
I... Well, I do see your logic. We usually pick out Pretzel's food for him, though. Actually- here we have to make it by hand. I'm sure it was delighted by your uh- thoughtful decision.
no subject
The Beast had a fish as long as my arm. He was happy.
no subject
As long as her arm? He could almost imagine this cat being dwarfed by the size of it’s supper.]
I’m sure he was a very happy feline indeed, with a meal like that!
no subject
Yes, he ate well. While I was in battle to save a child.
no subject
I imagine he did- Er… A child? It sounds like there was more to that day than an outing to feed your furry friend.
[The question popped out without thinking really, as tended to happen with Llewellyn.]
