[Yuki is at the chocobo ranch and at first there's only chocobos shown on the feed with all different colours of the birds shown. But after a pan around the spacious yard, Yuki's voice comes over it though the camera is decidedly not on himself.]

I guess..this is kind of late to be asking. But I don't suppose anyone can teach me how to ride a chocobo?

I'm looking forward to it! I haven't really gotten to do much with the ones here and I kinda miss the little guys from back home.

Nope! I've used a few to pull a wagon but no actual riding.

But you've done that back home, right?

Yup! I've also fought a giant one.

You..fought a giant chocobo?

Mmmhm, in a simulation but I Think it still counts.

Yeah, it was in the Shinra Combat Simulator. A portable one actually. It's kinda like a virtual reality.

That's really neat that they have things like that in your world. Did you use it often?

No, not really. It was mostly used by Shinra for training their soldiers.

So..no one else could really use that technology?

[This company was just something else.]

Nope, not unless they allowed it really. That's kinda just the way they are.

So it's a matter of..permissions. I guess that would make sense, that they wouldn't want their technology to get into the hands of just anyone.

It's more about power I think.

[That answer didn't make Yuki happy to hear. But he had heard sort of an underlying menacing tone when Mister Strife spoke about them.]
