Well, I'm an ordinary person and murder goes against my personal philosophy if that helps. Detective Llewellyn Watts-Maresh at your service.

Based on my own investigations and questioning, the Aspects both uh- fairly powerful but actually quite young beings that have been left in charge since this world was re-created after its... apocalyptic event. We don't know what that was either, for the record. But 'The Creator' seems to have mm... checked out, and left them in charge. They just don't seem to know everything they need to know to manage this place, so we occasionally have less pleasant situations...

Sometimes things just happen, and sometimes they're brought on if the Aspects break something when trying to figure out how to send people home or fix other things. They try their best to undo it, but... [There was a definite 'oof' in his tone.] Sometimes they need help, and those with the right talents are enlisted to assist.
