For Nida -

Today was a day that they both had off, so after breakfast, Ignis had cleaned up and got some coffee brewing. He had made quite the list in preparation for their joint meeting today and he kept having the sense of time ticking until they exchanged vows.

Clothing was sorted, food was still up in the air on some things but Ignis could whip up a lot of things in a hurry. The guest list was still to be determined, though they had spoken about a place to hold the wedding. Hopefully, the weather would cooperate and they could marry outside. But as to who was going to marry them, that was a thing that they needed to discuss too. And Ignis needed to clarify their theme and colours.

Outside - OTA

Ignis is walking around outside and is watching a few of the leaves fall. A few are turning colours and it marks the passage of time to him that he's been here almost a year. It's really strange to think about how simply landing in another world has completely changed said world. So he can be found looking at some trees just beyond a park bench. And as yet another leaf falls he smiles.

"It's quite the lovely time of year isn't it?"

Wildcard - OTA

[Feel free to make something up, I'm game! Nida is available for prompts too!]

Yes, though he was from a time where such words would be rather unheard of… he’d picked up some fun updates from people. Walkies stuck rather firmly in his head… It was fun to say, darn it! And as a language enthusiast, the evolution of language was as interesting as picking up a new one.

But he smiled at the comment, “Oh, well thank you.” He was rather pleased to hear the pup complimented on his behavior. They had come a long way, even if Pretzel still wanted to nibble on the odd thing he shouldn’t. “We’re doing quite well with training, even if he still needs a little work. So! I’m sure the odd table scrap won't hurt considering what we’ve already given him, and I wouldn’t want to hold it against any children who don’t know any better.”

And for that spoiling, Ignis would become one of Pretzel’s new best friends. He did so appreciate people who doted upon him as his adorable wrinkly self deserved. A spoiled, pampered hound he already was… But he did work hard at listening to and showering those who needed it with affection.

“Of course, thank you for checking.” He responded with a smile. It was nice when people actually put forth an effort in making sure instead of just going ahead with it. “There are a few things he shouldn’t have that are off limits, of course. Chocolate, grapes and such… I can make a list. There was a lot I didn’t know was bad for dogs until I got one and did some reading.” And oh, how much he’d read. Llewellyn liked to make sure he knew everything that could go wrong, after all. That included fuzzy companions that he got very attached to.

“Of course, I’ll make sure I send a proper list to you before I bring him next.” Llewellyn appreciated the caution from his friend, after all. Sometimes people thought he over worried, but it was hard not to when things had been so prone to going wrong over the years. He didn’t like to think of not covering all the possibilities and winding up with Pretzel harmed or falling ill as a result.

On the note of reading and Ebony, Llewellyn offered a smile. “And we have such an excellent resource for reading materials, one with a more helpful curator now.” Llewellyn rather like talking to the man, though he felt a bit bad for him at the same time. “I’m sure there would be some useful books on pet diets much like the ones I had access to in the last world, or at least I hope there would be.”

Sure

Llewellyn glanced around absentmindedly, realizing perhaps they’d lingered a bit too long. “Oh, yes! Probably time for me to get myself and Pretzel to work and all. Good luck with your reading.” He responded with a smile, tipping his hat slightly in parting. “I’ll certainly see you around the lodge sooner than later, I expect.”

Finally, he gestured lightly to Pretzel, getting the canine’s attention. “Time to go, Pretzel.” He said, giving a quick the command to come along with it, and off the pair went to continue their ‘walkies’ and get on with the day.
