[Billy's a little too close to the camera to start, edging back and flashing an uncertain smile, offering a small wave before he seems to think maybe that's a little too lame.]
Hey- um...I'm new here, I guess? I'm Billy. I don't really-...
[He breaks off with a frown.]
My parents are gonna be really worried about me, so if anyone knows how to get back home? I know we're supposed to help, but I really need to get back to my family.

Hello Billy. I am Lauri-Ell.
[She feels it might be best to build up to the 'you're here now'.]

[Billy's eyes widen, but his face breaks into a tentative smile.]
Um-...hi.
[He gives a flustered laugh.]

Hello to you as well. Did you just arrive?
no subject
I did. Do you know how I can get home again?
no subject
Have the Aspects spoken to you? About this place?

I do not know how to go home. I'm sorry.

...I don't want Tommy to be alone.

[Uh, that's an interesting combination of names. Clearly means nothing.]
Is Tommy your parent?

Then he is safe with your family, yes? I am sorry you are not with them, but he will be.

Hello, young man. Er- Billy, was it? I'm Llewellyn Watts-Maresh, and I'm uh- sorry, but I'm afraid I can't offer you advice on how to get home... It's something everyone's still puzzling over.
[He offered a sympathetic shrug, gesturing a little as he continued.]
But! If you need any other help in the interim, I can honestly say there are quite a few of us who are happy to help. Is there anything I can answer beyond how to get home?

[Billy tries to repeat back the name, but stumbles over it before he's even finished the first, cheeks going a bit pink.]
That's a complicated name...
Um- I guess, uh- oh- where would I get clothes? I'm kind of in my pjs.
no subject
I do, in fact, know where you can get some clothes. There are a few shops in the city, my husband even works at one... So I can probably get them at a discount! [Llewellyn added with a lighter tone, not wanting Billy to be too worried about that end of it. He had a bad feeling that the bag of coins they were all given wasn't going to cut it for a child.] Can't have you running around in sleepwear, wouldn't be good for you if we get any bad weather.
no subject
[He looks a little embarrassed, but grateful to be give the alternate.]
Really? That'd be good. I dunno how much stuff costs here.
[Or how he's going to earn more of these coins...]
Bad weather?
[He looks almost hopeful. Billy's never really gotten to see bad weather for himself.]
no subject
[... There was a slight slip there, as it had actually been 'dumbass' but he doesn't intend to say that in front of a child. Although the person who had called him that might've laughed.]
Yes, it's a bit hard to figure out how much things cost, but uh- I'm reasonably certain we can get you a few changes and you'll have plenty left over. [Because he's soft and knows that Rhy will understand if he tells him about helping out a kid who'd just arrived.] Maybe even enough for snacks.
[Snacks are very important, after all.]
It's rained here quite recently, and though I wasn't here for the winter it did snow!
no subject
Do they give out like...an allowance, or do I need to find a job? [He frowned curiously, wondering what kind of services he might be able to offer.]
I've never seen snow! [Billy looked quite excited about that possibility, forgetting his distress for a moment.]
no subject
Hm… Now that is a good question that I unfortunately don’t know the answer to at the moment. [The last world had provided for children as well as everyone else, but this world seemed to be of a different mind. Although it seemed only right that children get more than just the small sum of coins when they arrived. Then again… This world did seem to mirror his era in some ways. Maybe they did expect children to work.] But we’ll figure that out after. I imagine the Aspects or Raimon might be able to tell us about that.
[Llewellyn raised a brow a bit, wondering if the child lived somewhere that didn’t really get snow like Rhy… Because he seemed a bit old to have never seen it otherwise.] Never?? Well! You’ll be in for a treat come the winter then, I heard there was a lot of interesting festivities in December, and even skating at the park.
I wish we knew how to get back home. But do you have a place assigned to you? Somewhere to stay here?
[He wanted to ask about that darned gnome but he didn't know if everyone got that experience or if it was just him.]
[He held it up to show the camera.]
That's a key to the gray building, so it sounds like you're all set on a place to stay.
Yeah, mate, I know. Getting home would be nice and all, but we've just got to make the most of it. I'm Jagger. It's nice to meet you, Billy.

Hello, Billy. We all have things we need to get back to. Unfortunately, we have yet to find a way back so all we can do is make the best of it.
