Good morning all. Have wonderful news! Gili has said that my skills have improved enough that I may start small projects to learn more. I'm allowed to use some scraps to make things. But I do not wish to just take the pieces and then rework the metal. So I am willing to make small things for people instead.

[The woman starts to think to consider what the best options are.]

I am learning a cork screw next week as a lesson in twisting metal. I know how to make hammers as well, and nails, though there are always nails. Oh, I'm learning how to make things like tongs too. And bottle openers.

I suppose I could learn other little things too, but I haven't thought of what might be fun. Any ideas?

Although he wasn't entirely sure what might be fun to make... He'd never really given such things much thought. Humming a little, he considered what he knew of the woman so far and their past conversations. Well... If she could make hammers, perhaps...] Have you considered making small tools you can use when you're gardening?

I know how to make a hammer, but the other tools may be harder. But I suppose I could go see if there are tools I can create by hand. I shall have to research in the library again to see what those are.

Mm… They very well could be? I admit, I’m not entirely sure if they would be difficult... I do believe I’ve seen the odd book that lists the tools with pictures and their names, so there should be something to be found.

Oh yes! That would be lovely. Could you help me find the book? I could then start trying to make them! Or Gili can teach me.

[And Llewellyn had gotten the sense at the festival that she wouldn’t like the place, so meeting at the library was a much better option. Plus… He never had been known to stay inside for long.]

[It took him a minute to find the ‘end’ button on the call again, so she was treated to a rather funny view of the world as he fussed. But once it ended, the screen went dark.

[Indeed she would see him outside, soon finding him there with snacks. The sling earned her rushing forward some steps with concern on her face.]

[Llewellyn was a little startled when she rushed forward, straightening from his slouch with a surprised rise of his brows. Her reaction reminded him of that time his coworkers had been concerned about something that happened- OH... Right. Forgive him, Lauri-ell. He's smart, but dense sometimes.]

Oh, it's just a sprain and a few bruises? I um... had a run in with those things Halcyn mentioned in her broadcast. I can assure you that I'll be fine in a few weeks.

[The most annoying thing was the fact that he tended to be rather animated when he spoke, and he kept trying to move the arm he shouldn't.

Llewellyn's explanation was kept brief, mostly because he wasn't fond of the details, and he wanted to move forward to enjoy his time helping out a friend.]

[Llewellyn offered an awkward smile. He was still getting the hang of people being concerned... He wasn't sure if he ever would, but he had been trying more in the last year.]

I appreciate that; I agree that justice is important after all... But I assure you, the being that did this was taken care of. It was dispatched the night it happened, and Halcyn says they were all put to rest since then.

[Alright, so he's a little less certain of Halcyn and Athony's capabilities... But the incidents seemed to have quieted entirely, so that had to mean something.]

Thank you, Lauri-Ell. [And he did mean that, hoping it would put his friend's mind at ease. But he certainly did not need an apology, she hadn't been there.] I assure you that if I find myself in trouble and need help again, I'll remember you.

[Leaving the wall behind, he gestured with the bag to the library door.] Now shall we see if we can find those books? I do believe we've got a bit of a fun search ahead of us.
