[Regardless of where your character is or what they're doing, they will hear their Tell Phones ringing to life. The voice that comes through isn't the warm comforting tones of Halcyn's voice, but a deep, almost hoarse man's voice, clipped and somehow cold.]

Greetings, Aterat. It's been some time since we've had cause to contact you. I am Athony. Some of you may know me, but we've never met under good circumstances.

[He clears his throat, and there's a pause, as though this much explanation at once is tiring.]

Whether you've all been wondering or not, the explosion a few days ago was the result of sealing and redistributing power. The Cemetery should be safe for exploration now, though I don't know why you'd want to go there, and the harbor district has also been cleansed. There was...some feedback which resulted in the destruction of the Directory in the Historium. The library itself should be fine, and we're working on a replacement. It shouldn't cause anyone any problems.

[There's a pause, and then there may be the sound of another voice, distant and feminine, before he continues.]

Keep an eye on things and an ear to the ground. Nothing should happen, but I get the feeling, of those the portal dragged here, you're going to be the first to know if I'm wrong.

[ She paused and chuckled uneasily. ]

[Suggesting it doesn't really have a name, but that maybe they've chosen one for it.]

I can only imagine. Is it just you working mostly by yourself?

And Halcyn, yes. There was another, at first, but...they've gone. We've no idea where.

Another? Was it someone like you two or someone else?

Something greater than us. The Creator. It was they who brought us into being.

Oh. What happened to the Creator?

[ateratmods]

[He's quiet for a time.]

We don't know, but they are gone.

That...sounds bad. Could something have happened to them?

If so...I would hate to meet what caused it.

That also sounds bad. I hope nothing did happen to them.

[His tone is almost sad.]

Do you really know nothing at all about what may have happened?

Very little. I know there was a great welling of energy that eventually exploded. I don't know if it was intentional.
