“It does…” Llewellyn responded, moving around the room as he inspected it. “Even if there’s probably a lot to catch up on here… I can’t help but feel that we’ve ended up in a slightly better place.” It would be nice to live in an environment that suited them both a little better than before.
It was almost a fresh start for them both, knowing none of their memories had been shared in this place and were unlikely to be. Something he was sure neither of them would miss worrying about. If they wanted to share something with someone or each other… It would be better to do it when they were ready, rather than against their will.
Drawing closer again, he smiled softly. “For now, we should take a little time to rest and adjust to our new home, my love.” Then they could follow through with the plans they’d discussed to gather information and seek out employment wherever they could find work. That they had a plan, and a place for them to be together, was already several worries taken care of. They would sort out the rest together.
